+Team Shydog Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I am interested in 3 coins when they are made. Thanks.
+Team Ferret Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 After driving though Kansas, 3 things come to mind; Windmills, Oil Rigs and Grain Towers! We would be in for 2.
+Spencersb Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 I'll take 3! Ready topay when you have the procedure in place!
Jake - Team A.I. Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 I'll take 5 too. I lived in Iola for my 6 years, for those keeping track.
+kubigjay Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I'll take 5! I say put a Jayhawk on it! I know - people associate it with the University of Kansas but it was also what the freedom fighters from Kansas during the Civl War called themselves. Although I do think a sunflower on one side and a pic of Dorothy & crew going up the yellow brick foad on the other would be good!
+xfalcon1 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 (edited) looking @ 5 here, sounds like some good ideas i like the sunflower, not sure about,Dorothy & crew going up the yellow brick road But hey its your State coin Edited July 11, 2005 by xfalcon1
+vds Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 I was rasied in Kansas and spent 23 years there before moving to Texas (due to the massive aircraft lay-offs after September 11). I am VERY proud to say I was rasied in Kansas and even survived two tornados (one destoryed our house while we were inside. I say to make sure that what Kansas is known for is on the coin. If I were to design it I would make sure it had the Tornado and Sunflower, but Oz and Buffalo would be great as-well. What about putting Dorthy Geocaching in a sunflower field with Buffalo on the front and a tornado sucking up the tracking number on the back. Just ideas.... I will take five (5) either way. Too bad you didn't move to Alaska and do a two-state coin, the saying could be "there's no place but Nome"......(sorry, couldn't resist)
+ManGenGho Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Oops...forgot to actually post my request...I'm in for at least 2
+Cache Buzzards Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 3 Kansas coins for us - maybe more once we find out the price!
The Rubicon Brothers Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 The Rubicon Brother will be buying their Kansas coins though COOL. Thank you very much. Bother # 2
+pdxmarathonman Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 If you use any reference to Dorothy and her friends, then you've gotta have one side monochrome and the other side in brilliant color I am sure I'll trade one of my coins for one after they come out.
+Camp Explorer Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 (edited) I would like two please. Tom Edited July 21, 2005 by Camp Explorer

+9Key Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 The new Kansas quarter is a good design to start with. Maybe the bison on one side and sunflowers on the other?

+Redwing_dave Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 I represent the recently formed, Utah Based COin Ordering Liaison "COOL" group. At present, we would like 51 of these coins. Please scratch my previous request for 2 coins, placed back on 7/5, as my order will now be part of COOL. There are a few other Utah Cachers that previously made coin requests, who will also be part of the COOL order. They will each make their own note in this forum. Please contact me when ready to finalize orders for this coin edition. Thanks, Redwing_dave
+Stuck on WGS84 Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 My previous request for 5 coins is included in the COOL request made by Redwing_dave. Thanks
