We'll be driving up all the way from San Jose on Thursday and assuming that Hilton will let us extend our stay one day, leaving sometime Monday. Really looking forward to hanging out with all our friends.

dimkasmir and I will probably go up from SF on that Saturday. For those planning to visit SF on your visit, we will try to get our TB hotel in Golden Gate Park up and running by the time of the event.

GW5 was a blast, but I won't be able to make it this year. I've got a brother-in-law getting married and my ten-year anniversary trip to New England this summer, so the vacation budget is all spoken for.

 

At least I should be able to pick up 12 maybe 13, more states for my map!

Does anyone have a bookmark list of the events in the area that week/weekend?

We are starting our road trip on either the 16th or 17th. We will be caching along the way and end up at the Friday Night Meet and Greet. Then we leave Sunday and head north up the coast to do the Orginal Stash, APE and HQ. Then head east towards home. It will be about 16 days on the road, I think 14 states and alot of memories. We can't wait to see everyone there.

Being new to the world of geocaching, I wish I could go to this. However, I'll have to stick to some smaller events in my neck of the woods and possibly try to plan to attend GW7 next year.

Oh, man! I am getting so depressed reading this thread! So many great people gonna be there. So many new coins being traded and sold. So many Events, and caching to do! And I'm gonna miss it ALL!!!
