+Gizmomuis Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Well, i'm very interested in two sets of these coins!!!
+julia51:) Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 we are VERY interested! beautiful design, thanks.
+Haughton's Hunters Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Wow you all are really churning out the coins.....this one is pretty cool I would buy a set for sure!! But you better watch out you might get your links removed by the geocoin mods for being too commercial like neilsenc and cachehunters42 did. Ya'll have quite the little coin business going on. If it is a business, I highly doubt gc would allow for their logo to be used (unless some business arrangement is made). No, it's even BETTER for Groundspeak. To use their logo on an item you are selling, you pay 10% of the cost of the item. So, for each piece of the puzzle coin, they are getting $1.50 + 10% of the final cost (which I would say will include the $1.50). So, if they sell for $8.00, Groundspeak gets $2.30 per coin instead of $1.50. I have asked about selling items with their logo and was granted permission at a 10% comission. I personally don't think 10% is out of line, it's the $1.50 I still don't care for but will accept as the price of making a more valued coin. As long as he is paying the $1.50 tracking number fees, my understanding of the new rules is he can post his links to that particular coin. If I"m wrong, feel free to correct it (Eartha/FSM/??) benji55545 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 sweet design, i'll probably end up getting one of these. ben
+Hans Richardt Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 When you start taking pre-orders, I would like one or two sets. Thanks Hans
+Bailey Nippon 4 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 If it makes a difference in availability in the future, which I hope it will, I am interested in a set.
+Marky Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 No, it's even BETTER for Groundspeak. To use their logo on an item you are selling, you pay 10% of the cost of the item. Maybe I am reading it wrong. Maybe someone will correct me. --Marky
Not So Lost Puppies Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I believe the 10% is only for NON-trackable coins being sold for profit. The $1.50 per coin for tracking codes includes the ability to use the logo. Hence the generic GC logo trackable coin die that at least of the manufactures offers free.
+"DayHunters" Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 This would be great for a starter... would love to have 3 sets; one for a gift, one for a multi as FTF prize and one for ME!

The way I read the guidelines non-trackable coins cannot be sold here at all......of course if you make them to just leave in caches you avoid all the questions.
+Glenn Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Those would be a great FTF prize for a puzzle cache.

Like I said, this is not a thread to discuss the guidelines of this forum or the cans or cannots of using the Groundspeak logo, there are other threads for that. This thread is only for previewing our Puzzle Geocoins that we have Groundspeak's permission to produce, please don't keep trying to turn this thread into a debate. Thanks,
allinfun Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Please put me down for 3 sets if there isn't a limit. Great idea! Nice design! (wish I had thought of it...) Allinfun

+NotThePainter Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 I've never bought a coin before. These look very nice. Count me in for at least 2 sets, more if I can afford them, but I doubt it. Is there a mad scramble to get them or will all orders be filled? These will give a new icon on the trackables tab right? (That's a show stopper for me, at least for my first purchased coin, I thought I saw a few pages back that it would do so) Thanks!!!! Paul
+strikeforce1 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Ok, I'm in for two sets. Depending on the final cost, I may up it to 4 sets. Nice job, keep us up to date. SF1
+2Wheel'in Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Fantastic idea Billy MooseMaMa and I will be in for two sets. Regards, Bill
+Nocturnal Navigators Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 This is probably the coolest coin/coins I've seen yet. Hopefully I can scrape enough $$$ up for a set or 2.
+LadyBee4T Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I would be interestd also in a set or two depending on the price as my budget is about gone too!!
+6 Feet More Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I'd be very interested in acquiring a set (possibly two sets) of these coins when they are available.
+BackBrakeBilly Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 We decided to have a couple of sets done for a test run to make sure they fit together perfectly and the colors and designs of all four corners flow together. As soon as they are done I will post a picture so everyone can see what they are all about. Thanks and stay tuned for more soon...........
+FluteFace Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I'd sure love two sets, as well. What a great idea.
+BenGeo'en Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Would sure like a couple of sets to put in different caches in Alaska so the finders would have to get together to see the whole set. Might be fun.

+GeoHills Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Like it! Could you make it in February though? My January budget is just about tapped out. Or possibly March...? Or, can we order in February and pay in March?
