M'kay, here's the artwork for the St. Louis - SLAGA version:

How is this possible? I thought area 1 and 3 on the front all had to be the same color?

The circles oon the back int he center were also not called out as a different area to color?

 

Can these kind of changes be made? I would like to change mine if they are.

They were supposed to be the same color based on the black & white guide we were given. I already okayed mine. So no changing it now.

I have been disappointed this year on how the whole design, color chart numbers, changing the numbering, new options, short order time and approval time has all gone. I hope the coins turn out better than the process to order them has.

 

See as order was due today, how many coin versions did we end up with?

Hey all - I am doing things a bit different this time around with these coins. After I sell at the event, coins that are left over will be allocated to pre-arranged trades first and then I will be selling them in a store linked to my site (if I can get it figured out) or eBay.

 

I would like to give priority to event hosts so if you are interested in the Ontario version, contact me asap to arrange a future trade to be completed after the 10-10-10 event. Please note: as a rule, I do not collect more than one version of a coin so I will not be looking to trade for other 10-10-10 colour schemes.

I'm planning a raffle or two at my event and one of the raffles would be two or three different versions from the 10 group.

Is there any other event hosts planning raffles or door prizes that would like to do the same? we could trade a couple (one to keep one to raffle/gift) if you like.

 

I had several different versions I had traded on display at the 9-9-9 event and they were well received.

 

I'm sure like the 9-9-9 event coins last year there will be no problem with hosts trading with other event hosts for different versions of the "10" coin prior to the date. But if there is.. the powers to be please let me know and I'll retract my offer.

This may be a little late, but we (Manitoba Geocaching Association) would like to host a 10-10-10 event in Manitoba. How can we get ahold of some coins? Who is the contact for this? Our regular coin acquirer has moved away, and we're trying to get some for our community.

The coins have been designed and sent to the mint already. Probably the easiest way to get a hold of some coins is to split with another event (50 for you, 50 for them). Another possible option is that avroair generally designs a few extra versions, and you might be able to purchase some of them for your event. Hard to say since the bills have already gone out and been paid, and the coins are currently in production.
