+BlueDeuce Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I'm getting some 1930's radio show. (interesting though)
lewis82 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 (edited) I get the same as you, pklong. Looks like they've got problems since they started putting ads and playing with the source code... EDIT:Some pages still works... => like this one Edited July 6, 2007 by lewis82

+welch Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Somebody forgot to feed the squirrels. Moving this thread to geocaching.com forum... What do they feed the squirrels anyways? (and when did it get upgraded to squirrels ?)
+gh patriot Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 just curious but didn't the servers just get upgraded to prevent this sort of thing?
+Raine Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 just curious but didn't the servers just get upgraded to prevent this sort of thing? I think in the terms of use, rhetorical questions are not allowed.

Earthdog Patrick Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I just want to see what time GC thinks it is..., since I can't get there.

+trainlove Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 (edited) Seems like Server Error in '/' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is only happening for My Account, no I'm not paranoid, I mean your Account... All other services at geocaching.com seem to be working but I can't look at my latest stats for travel bugs or anything. Well it looks like I can see other peoples profiles so perhaps it IS ME. Actually it really means that the Quick View+++ are not working, duh. Edited July 6, 2007 by trainlove

Is there any way to build a PQ without going through the "my account" page?
+trainlove Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It's mostly "My Account" for me too. Is there any way to build a PQ without going through the "my account" page? Just memorize all the url's ahead of time and you can do it. Of course you have to have ESP or perhaps just memorize all the urls at geocaching.com that you normally use.
+pixieslayer Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It's mostly "My Account" for me too. Is there any way to build a PQ without going through the "my account" page? Try http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ to get to the PQ page directly.
+Miragee Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Try going here. I always keep that page, along with many other GC.com pages, open in my browser.
+Jishin Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Try http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ to get to the PQ page directly. That doesn't seem to help me -- I'm still getting the same error using the pocket query link.

Add as a bookmark or add to favorites, depending on your brower.
+beejay&esskay Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Server is too busy That's what I get now when I try to access anything.
+Deliveryguy428 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 General network error. Check your network documentation.
+whistler & co. Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Yikes! I cannot access anything useful because I am no longer logged on. Not only has the site logged me out against my will, but now I am getting this error when I try to go to the main page or try to log on: Server Error in '/' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Object reference not set to an instance of an object. +Deliveryguy428 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 where is Doctor Who with his sonic screwdriver when we need him to fix this???
+sargenv Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Yeah, site is down for me also. I keep loggng on and it keeps logging me off every time I go to run a query, check my page, etc. I was able to run 1 query this am, but now I too am unable to log on. I initially got the same error about 'network documentation' and now I get 'server too busy'. will keep trying.. maybe later.... when half of us have gone to bed..
2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Thank you everyone for all of the links and the 'Home Page', but none of the links are working and I can get to the 'Home Page' but none of the links from that are working. I know - "Working on it". Which is good that someone knows about "It"...... Shirley~
+flgAZ Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I was able to log some caches on July 4th and was impressed on how well the site was responding. I'm sure it was busy. But I bet it will be really busy through Monday of next week.
+ekhoc Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 General network error. Check your network documentation. Got the same at some point, as well. Checking my network documentation did not help much, though Now the system is then too busy.
+PLMerry Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Man you would think that we are addicts trying to survive without our fixes. PLEASE GET GC.COM UP SOON; I'M STARTING TO TWITCH. Might go into a comma if down to long.
+gh patriot Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I dont visit alot of web sites but this is the only one that I use that is messed up on a consistant basis.
+trainlove Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I dont visit alot of web sites but this is the only one that I use that is messed up on a consistant basis. Ah, I thought there was something consistant at geocaching.com. Now this is not a jab just a joke.
+whistler & co. Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Seems to be back up and working fine now...praise be! And thanks to anyone who had a hand in getting it back! (What was that someone said about "addicts"? )

+Miragee Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It is back up for me, but I had to log in again . . . second time today. Since I keep the "My Account" page open in my browser all the time, I very rarely have to log in. Must be some serious trouble with the database today . .
+Ziggy Crew Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It just started working again for me. Not for me Now I am back in.
+Cornerstone4 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 just curious but didn't the servers just get upgraded to prevent this sort of thing? I think in the terms of use, rhetorical questions are not allowed. Now that's funny!
