If you hit refresh, you'll see that the order is random. Gotta love MySQL's ORDER BY rand().

I would offer to put up a voting mechanism, but it would be too tempting to cheat and make me win one of those cool Geo-hiking Staffs...

For those who want their avatar on the page and the avatar is your current avatar, E-mail me and just say "use my current avatar". No need to give me the URL (this, of course, assumes you've posted to this thread ).

That's why my email will be the voting box. I'm the only one in here that has nothing to gain or lose by the outcome. Not that I think anyone in here would try to tip the scales in their favor.

I do appreciate what you are doing though it will make it much easier to view.

Edit: Oh! and I voted for 3 long time favorite avitars that were all on *the list.* Won't say who just now though! I had a close 4th of an avatar that was not listed.

The Avatar Gallery is current as of 1:25pm, which means I've entered all e-mails I've received. I didn't go back through all 5 pages of this thread (I did add ones that I happened to see, but I'm sure I missed a ton). E-mail me if your avatar isn't in the Gallery and you want it to be.

I added an alphabetized list of cacher names so it is easier to see if you are in the Avatar Gallery database (somewhat hard to do with the avatars being displayed in random order).

The Cache Raiders asked if their new avatar is better than their first...well I think it is. However, I noticed the Staffs made by El Diablo all have a separate geocaching.com logo on them, apart from the personal logo. If the personal logo also has a part of the geocaching.com logo...it is a bit of repetition isn't it? Oh well...just a little detail to maybe consider if you're chosen. It's like some flags out there have Union Jacks in them in two spots...that has always been a little strange in my honest opinion. But you're logo, alone, is definitely better with, than without the background.

early arnold is a lot like current soapy boy in that neither of them speak english very well. In the case of arnold, he can be forgiven for his austrianness. In the case of soapy boy, i chalk up his lack of coherent sentences to beer and lather. Foam, if you will.

The DB is current as of 6:45am PST (which means that I've caught up with all my e-mail). E-mail is still okay, but just posting to this thread again saying that you want to be included is fine (and actually easier for me, since I don't have to go search down your avatar). I'll stay current with any posts after this one. I just didn't want to have to go back through all the pages.

While I have your attention, I'd like to point out how good my smashed penny design would look on wood. Just click on my avatar on the gallery page and see the example smashed penny (which also looks alot like wood!)
