Oh dear.

 

Whoops ... I didn't mean to cause such a stir by posting that image. I should have known better knowing how rabid some people here are about coins. I'm afraid it is NOT my coin ... I simply did a google image search for "Santa Coin" to have something fun to post.

 

But after a little investigating, I discovered that you can in fact buy it - though not from me. The image is hosted at mil-mall.com, which appears to do its trade in selling gifts for military families - including military challenge coins and other fun coins. I don't know if they offer geocoins.

They have a very cool coin for you jeep people - a Christmas one which is undated with a Jeep-Humvee AND it's on sale. Nice Site!

Sorry to ask but was this list complete?

Seems bot Fredhead and Queenie-Boo-Bay have been removed from the adult list

but not added into the childrens list.

 

They are so looking forward to the mission, bought new coins, lsots of swag @ CoinFest 2008..

I've been off on other forums doing some marketing to make this an international mission as much as possible.

If you have geocaching / geocoin friends in other nations, please encourage them to join up.

It's a BIG mission field, and it will take several days to send out the emails. Please be patient.

As this job really needs to be done right first time.

 

Child missions.

25 globally diverse participants.

 

Pet Missions.

16 missions, 66% US.

 

Fun to come.

Think now about the extras you might add...

a jingle bell, an ornament, (hey - those crackers MUST have the popper removed as it is classed as an explosive - care here please.)

A handmade item maybe,

candy or chocolate.

a toy, or a book.

Let's have a little fun now and post your suggestions for extras.

 

Remember some countries have restrictions - no plant material or organic items (eg sand filled objects)

This is going to be soooo much fun......I almost can't wait and am shivering. I know for the elves to get everything right I need to be patient.....but ohheeevoi - I just want to put in some special things and this is going to require some research......and mailing by the 11th ........my gosh, do I sound nervous?

 

Snow is supposed to be coming to our neck of the woods this week........puts you in the mood. Oh the weather out side is frightful, but the fire is so delightful............and if you've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..............

Update....

Those emails are coming in fast now.

 

Once the close off is reached, I'll post the list again.

Then you can email me again if I have the numbers wrong for your mission.

It will take several days of cross matching missions, as I want to ensure that where possible there is a good geographical mix.

 

All going well, you should have your email by the end of Sunday 2 November, allowing time to meet most cut off mailing dates for international Christmas mail.

 

You are however welcome to hold off mailing your mission and pay a bit more for postal rates; just please ensure it gets to the recepient before Dec 24th.

 

Thanks to the many who are making this mission work so well.

The mailing date is only there to catch international Christmas mail deadlines (non-priority).

Feel free to post later, so long as it gets there by 24th December.
