+A Mitt
I'm really excited about this mission. It's going to be so much fun. I'm waiting for the names before I go shopping (I'll need to buy everything!) and I really hope I can get my person something from their wish list. I just started collection and don't have any lists yet. I only have a handful of coins (albino lobster, here comes the sun, GCF Yime, MB halloween coin, Pororoca Endless Wave on order and ISAF coin). Curtis the geodog and I would be happy with any coin someone picks for us. Thanks Butterfly Lady for all your hardwork! Quote Link to comment
+Western Mass Clan
More housekeeping.... I hope I can keep up with this.... I am keeping a list of names for this mission.... and they will change color as we go. Red means I have allocated a mission to that name. (I'll won't use green then due to some males not being able to tell the difference) Dark Blue means that you have posted in the forums that your mission has been sent. Pink is that your recipient has received the mission sent. So it is VERY important that you all post the receipt of a mission PLEASE. AND somehow I will try to add that you've received your mission. The summer here means also that I am out caching. From Dec 25th onwards I am unlikely to change anyone's status. Sunshine, NZ's wonderful bush beckons... hiking, beaches, cool lemonades and hokey pokey ice creams..... The color coding of sent and received missions??? BRILLIANT!! Quote Link to comment
+Butterfly_lady
One more thing.... I'm sending mission emails out in groups for my ease. Children and pet missions will go out first (much smaller group size) then later this week will be the adults... Oh, that means that if your profile / family have missions in more than one group you will get more than one email over the week ahead. Please do not email me back if you get a child's mission today and have to wait a few days for the adult one... I have 211 emails to send..... copy, paste, edit each one.... TIME is a resource that will need to be broken into chunks. But priorities.... It's a lovely sunny holiday Monday here.... SO folks, I'm off out - - -- - -- - - - caching . So many new caches in my small area, that I'm after. Edited October 26, 2008 by Butterfly_lady Quote Link to comment

We just got into geocoin collecting about 2 months ago, and we already have over 30 coins. What started out as a cheap hobby (geocaching), has evolved into a full blown obsession. Question, I notice a lot of people say they have wish lists. Where do they have these, so I can take a look at whomever I have gotten for our exchange person??? Heidi Quote Link to comment
+grodan & fiabus
Many of us have listings at www.geocoincollection.com, you should be able to look at listings even if you are not a member. There is also www.cointracking.com where people have listings of their coin. Have fun and keep it easy. The missions doesn´t have to be all that big with alot of costy things. The important thing is that it is fun to do. To make own cards or other things and try to look into the persons that are getting the mission to try to find out things and coins they like are a good thing. grodan Karin Quote Link to comment
+yalehockeymom
I know I'm a little late but I thought it said e-mail by Nov.10. Yes, I know I was wrong! Is there still time to sign up for two missions? YHM Quote Link to comment
+gardengorilla
Regretfully, I'll have to opt out of this great mission. My household shipment (and coins!) are still not here. But we do have an arrival date...Nov. 10! I don't think that will give Cinnabear and I enough time to get our missions out. I hope everyone recieves a cuppla cheers from me anyway, Merry Christmas!!! +Butterfly_lady
All children missions have been allocated, and emails sent. Took almost 2 hours to do the emails, so I will be doing the rest over the next two weeks, a few each day. As I have a dentist appt tomorrow, it is unlikely that I will send any out then.... (I get migraines when at the computer too long.... esp after dental work) BTW - ALL missions have been allocated. It's just the huge job of emailing missions that is happening now. So to all, a good night! Edited October 27, 2008 by Butterfly_lady Quote Link to comment

Where do they have these, so I can take a look at whomever I have gotten for our exchange person??? Heidi Many have joined coin tracking sites, that allow them to record their keeping, seeking and incoming lists. If they are savy they will either have a link to it on theri GC profile, or in the signature of their forum posts. Another way around this, is to check their GC profiles, look at the trackable tab and see what they "own" and assume everything not on that list is something they would like. Enjoy. Is there still time to sign up for two missions? YHM Nearly 200 missions!!! ..... Sorry, but once I close off - that's it! I've had previous missions where there were latecomers, and it does make it hard. So this time the policy is - get your sign up emailed before cut off...... ....... NAUGHTY OR NICE LIST IS NOW CLOSED! Santa's list is complete. The elves are very busy mix and matching everyone. Across the nations, Christmas spirit will spread. NAUGHTY OR NICE LIST IS NOW CLOSED! I have to stop somewhere...... I gave warnings in the subtitle and in posts.... I extended the closing date... Now, after I've done all that and spent hours on all the sorting out.... SORRY, but bending the rules for one, and you know I will get bombarded by others.... Please don't turn me into a scrooge. It's tough turning people down. I hate doing that, but others have read the closure notice and heeded it. Emails with mission details are on their way. Children will have already received their email... Quote Link to comment

Other missions will be sent out progressively over the next week, maybe longer. It will take at least 10 hours solid sitting at the computer, copy, paste, edit. I cannot do this in a rush..... And I also have to eat, work, sleep.... I will post when each group has been sent out in completion..... Then you can email me if you are on the list and your spam filter has eaten it up. As per above posts, only the PETS and CHILDRENS mission emails have gone out. The adult missions are being finalised - I found two errors (Sorry Rocking Roddy, I did note your bowing out of this mission - please ignore your name on the list!) It will take a week to get the rest of the missions out - doing it in short bursts. I will send out to those doing multiple missions first, then the rest will be at a random order - just for the fun of it and to reduce the monotony of it all for me. I won't be starting tonight though - I have a class to attend, and dinner to cook now. BTW - Are YOU on the list - yes - see post #193 Cheers, Edited October 29, 2008 by Butterfly_lady Quote Link to comment
