Hoblik
We were looking for an expression of a strong relationship between two people. Idea was to find something simple, trying to avoid heart variations, maybe less romantic, but expressing strong bond we feel. So the concept of this dual geocoin is based around two interlocked, but loose and free moving symbols. Each of the symbols will have its own tracking number, but they can not be separated and will always stay connected and travel together. Hope you like it, feedback is welcome before we go for final production. Quote Link to comment
+Crowesfeat30
I like. But I do have one question: Since geocoins are made in a solid piece, how will you get them linked together? CF30 Quote Link to comment
+NepoKama
That's a cool coin set, though I'm now very curious as to how the interlocked coins get made -- definitely interested in getting a pair. Quote Link to comment
+keewee
They are seriously cool geocoins!!!! When will they be available, from where, and how much please? Quote Link to comment

Hoblik
Oh yes, there is some serious production magic needed to make this ;-) Anyway, what you see is the real sample. There is also silver variant, please see below. Quote Link to comment

+Bhob
it sometimes seems that the geocoin community has taken on the mission of giving coin-makers fits this one appears to be in that category I will be very interested to see if anyone is up to the challenge . . . Quote Link to comment

+drneal
I know some coin manufacturers can personalize coins (for an additional fee.) Any thoughts of personlization? ILYK Quote Link to comment
+ARONK76
I would definitely buy one for my personal collection and probaly one to release. As for how they will be made - The only way would to have them cast in a 2 piece mold that would come apart afterwards allowing them to be made interlinked. Quote Link to comment
+sweetlife
I love the concept and meaning of this geocoin, I hope to be able to get one to memorialize the love that me and my husband have for one another and spread the love around the world. Quote Link to comment

Hoblik
I know some coin manufacturers can personalize coins (for an additional fee.) Any thoughts of personlization? ILYK Yes, the idea is that names can be laser engraved on the footprints side of the symbols, opposite to tracking codes. Will test this on samples in the next few days. Quote Link to comment

No molds here, these are stamped brass coins. I prefer this technology, it feels more classic than die casting. And coins make very nice sound. Quote Link to comment

+goosefraba1
Lol... I like the idea that they can't get away from each other I do foresee trouble with cachers moving both coins... err realizing that they need to "grab" and "drop" both coins at every destination. Quote Link to comment

As there are two trackingnumbers on the coin(s) I hope they will both have their own unique icon. Thanks for your comment. I believe that two tracking numbers are necessary for the nature of the concept. But I have not really thought about two icons until now. It is defintely good idea, some extra costs and some extra thinking ;-) That is why I like forums like this - it makes you to go back and re-think. Will spend some time thinking about two names and icons needed, but need to hurry, as coins are in production... Quote Link to comment
Hoblik
Thanks everyone for comments and suggestions. We will go with two tracking numbers and two different very simple icons. This is what it would look like in the reality Quote Link to comment

Hoblik
This coin will probably take a bit more time to produce, than expected. Samples are very nice, but production is quite tricky and unexpected complications occured. But we still hope for the best! Quote Link to comment
