lorca.nl Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 i wonder if the mystery sasquatch remembers he has a scottish relative? The big grey man of Ben MacDui. a remote summit near Aviemore. sadly though, thats still too far away for me to get to., but it would be good if the sasquatch visited the uk i think Sasquatch is a very good swimmer.... he swim from the USA to AUSSIE and EUROPE is in between. and NOPE Sasquatch did not take a stop here, he swim right back to the USA. so i`m sorry girl but i think that Sasquatch don`t remember that he have relative somewhere here in europe but i`m HAPPY that he let his little brothers catch all over the USA and AUSSIE CONGRATZZZ FOR ALL THE ONCE THAT WHERE SO LUCKY TO CATCH SASQUATCH Quote

+intolerable Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Yesterday, we were seeing Sasquatch in the most unexpected places. A number of times at the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle (from the display for the Six Million Dollar Man to the Big Foot action figure in the gift shop, he was all over!). Later we encountered one that seemed to want some of our donuts we'd picked up in Pike Place Market! It even came up that we thought it would have been cool to have a Geo Sasquatch coin a few times as we could have gotten some interesting pictures. So not only was it a *great* surprise when I opened up that mailer today that I assumed was a Christmas present for my wife that was supposed to come in last week, but it was also a little eerie after having encountered so much Sasquatch the day before!! Thanks Geo Sasquatch! I'm planning to head up to Tunnel of Light soon and will bring this nice *big* coin along for the ride Hoping to get up by Sky River Sasquatch (GCM7CQ) soon also and you can be sure the coin will be along for some pictures there Quote
+DaFunkyFrogs Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 congrats to all who have received this great coin......... Quote
SoDakCachers Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Can you believe it??? Sasquatch has been sighted in South Dakota!!! My wife called me at work today, with an accusatory tone in her voice. "What are you buying without telling me??" she asked in that tone I've come to love. I proceeded to tell her I had no idea what she was talking about and I did not forget that she had put a moratorium on all coin purchases prior to Christmas, with the exception of Tsun's awesome DT coins. I couldn't believe my ears when she opened the package and told me there was some kind of "Bigfoot" coin in it! I had read this thread and silently hoped I would run across one in a cache somewhere and simply couldn't believe my luck in having one mailed to me. This is my first mystery coin and I LOVE it. Thank you so much mystery Yeti dude! It's an awesome coin. It will look great in my growing collection. Quote

+SLO Trekker Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Yeti invade the Central Coast! I was doing some regular maintenance on one of my caches, and was surprised to see this wonderful bigfoot coin waiting there. It is a rather large cache, but surely not big enough for that Big Foot. Thanks Geo Sasquatch for visiting our area and leaving one of your precious coins. I feel like Christmas has come early! It will be a treasured addition to our humble collection. Quote

+Dr. Whoever Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I noticed a Geo-Sasquatch coin dropped in a travel bug hotel of mine at the California/Nevada border (300 miles from my home). It was dropped on December 3rd and no cacher had been by to visit. So early this morning I decided to drive over and spend a few bucks in the casino and also check to see if this was another bigfoot sighting hoax. NOT!!!!! Here's the post: Geo-Sasquatch Sighting Quote
+Cheesy pigs Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Looks like GeoSasquatch (or one of his close relatives) has been down consorting with the Tasmanian Tigers in the South West Wilderness of Tasmania!!! While in such dense forest, no footprint would ever show where the Yeti has been, but he thoughtfully left his calling coin as proof of his presence!! I believe!!!! [] Quote

Snowing and such but I haven't been caching so I decided to hit up a few caches on the way to the dog park. This one is close by so I stopped there and as I suspected its not in the cache. No one logged in the cache log book that they grabbed it that I saw. I really hope that someone has just forgotten to log it and the other coin that is listed in the cache but not there either. Maybe I'll see one another time.....Oh well. I then found two other caches and went to the dog park. The park was locked and I didn't have the key. Again I struck out!! +007BigD Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Speaking of the darndest places... Sasquatch was spotted here LAST YEAR!!! Theres a little path he supposedly uses that he has been seen on! I was talkin bout him with a co worker and she brought me in the News Clipping of a Face to Face with him on 101!~ Ill try to get it! Not only that, but READ MT FTF LOG on this cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...=y&decrypt= That was for real!!!... I was runnin off from the car like I was gonna snag the cache first (even in the wrong direction ) when all of a sudden I STOPPED! RIGHT in front of me was something HUGE and I couldnt see it as it was dark and I didnt have a light. It backed up into the bushes cracking branches and leaves and just STOPPED there!!! I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO THINK!!! Right at that time Sparkey caught up with me and heard it too... He had just got there and knew somethin was up. It was only about 15 feet in front of us and it WASNT moving...Just backed itself into the bushy tree and SAT THERE. We didnt have a strong light, as it was kinda a mad dash outa the car tryin to ditch the last guy, but Sparkey had a little LED or somethin. We just shined it at the tree and backed off with it staying shined on the place it had moved to. We immediatley got back to the car and BEAT FEET! We went to the other side of the small lake where the cache was actually at and could hear what ever it was going through the bushes again!!! I say it was BigFoot...whatever it was it shoulda been scared of us runnin up on it in some way, but It didnt make a peep! I was so close to it, that I could hear branches breaking at head level!!! I never saw it at all! BUT Northern California IS BigFoot country!!! Quote

Came very close to grabbing it after the holiday party at Mohegan Sun Friday night. But held off until the next AM to find this really cool coin still in the cache! +rivercity Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I posted a message a few weeks ago but it looks like I may have unintentionally deleted it instead. We were on our way to the foothills and checking caches along the route. One cache caught my eye -- The Legend of Bigfoot -- and I did a double-take when I saw the last finder -- Geo-Sasquatch! We took a detour and parked close to a wooded area. We saw lots of shadows and shadowy figures on our walk to the cache. Could one of those shadows have been Geo-Sasquatch? The cache lived up to its name with all kinds of Bigfoot swag and stories inside. The best surprise was sitting right on top, though, that coveted Geo-Sasquatch coin! We added our signatures right under the Geo-Sasquatch mark in the log, dropped a new geocoin, and hurried through the woods with treasure in hand. Thanks for the adventure, Geo-Sasquatch. Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and the treasure you left behind! Quote

+tadpole379 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Last Sunday I attended the Caching Through the Snow Event in NJ. I had a great time chatting it up at a restaurant and then afterward, off for some caching. I hitched a ride with a group of cachers, and we found 2 caches without incident. On the third cache, our group climbed down a very steep hill/cliff because the cache was down there at the bottom, and we were not. Halfway down the hill, I happened to glance back up and saw a hairy figure staring down at us. He picked up a rock and threw it down the hill at us. I don't think he intended to hurt us, just scare us a little, but the rock hit me and broke my finger. That cut or caching trip a little short, so we headed back to the car. When I arrived back at my car, there was an envelope on the windshield with a Sasquatch coin inside! Thank you GeoSasquatch! A surprise coin took away some of the pain of a broken finger! Quote
