  1. I had guessed I would not be able to log the TB in the benchmark but I had envisioned writing a note on the TB page and referencing the name of the benchmark. I guess I can still create the waypoint and just cut and paste the URL into the TB log . Thanks again for the input!
  2. Thanks for the reply! So, I can create a waymark but is there anyway to get it on gc.com??? Thanks!
  3. Hello, I am new to these forums and I suspect this is an old story but, I have not been able to sort through the info after about an hour of reading. I was hiking in the white mountains (in New Hampshire) this weekend and since they have forbidden geocaches on the appalachian trail, there were none to find but when I got to the top of the first 4000 foot mountain I had ever climbed, I found a benchmark there. It said "US Geological Survey Benchmark" and the name appeared to be "Mt Pierce". The date was 19??. I can post a pic when I get home tonight. The coords were N44 13.585 W71 21.960. All weekend I was looking forward to logging a find for this benchmark and writing a note for my walking stick travel bug to say it was there and I get home and check gc.com and no benchmark . I could not navigate through the waypoint section to see if it exhists there already and...... I am getting frustrated! What I really want to do is have it added to the gc.com site. Is that even possible??? I feel like I have already worked harder than I have for some 5/5 caches Any guidance appreciated! Thanks!

  11. Yalehockeymom and I made a road trip out there in February with my daughter to finish up the counties (we had not done before GCF) and I have to say it was some of the most fun I have had caching! They sure know how to make snow up in that corner of the state and even though YHM tried to convince me my Subaru was not a snowmobile, there were several times it proved her wrong I have to recommend the trip to anyone even slightly interested! The caches were fun and the area is beautiful!!!! And then on top of it....COINS!!!!
  12. I too sent an email after I located the contact info link. No word yet
  13. Okay, chalk that last one up to... fatigue and maybe a martini I just found the contact us link
  14. Thanks for the words of wisdom! I do like the women of distinction coins but..... some things about the site do not add up?! Some coins are marked with a GRAND opening price but this is not reflected when the coins are placed in the shopping cart and.... I may be being brain dead but I am having a tough time finding the "contact us" link
  15. Don't despair. The sale did not go through and you still have a chance! Hope the doggie is feeling better soon!
  16. Yes, that does seem to be a little sticking point!
  17. WOW! Even more beautiful than I thought they would be!!!
  18. Still available, I think.. I can't seem to find them. Would still love one if anyone has one they can part with! I have many..... not-so-organized (blush) traders
