+Frisco05 Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Any other way to be able to view this coin? I can't get the link to work
ParentsofSAM Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 $10 + $2 shipping! Look like I will need to trade for this one, the coin is nice but the price is a little high for me.
Phantom_Dog Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Did is miss something? What does this have to do geocaching? or is "Out for Justice" is a geocaching team?
+LadeBear68 Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I am a little confused as to the price. Why is this coin expensive given the colors and artwork?
kcart Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) Icon ho must ask: Icon? Alter ego must ask: This is about geocaching ... how? EDIT: Fiscal conservative asks: It's how much? ©¿©¬ Edited February 14, 2006 by kcart

+Team PEZ Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) $10 + $2 shipping! Look like I will need to trade for this one, the coin is nice but the price is a little high for me. i could see spending $12 bucks if the coin was cut into a different shape or has many different colors - but, $12 for an ordinary 2 inch coin? i may be wrong, but i dont think you will get a lot of interest with this price. perhaps lowering it to something reasonable, might help. just my .02 worth. Edited February 14, 2006 by Team PEZ
+nicolo Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Well, a little too pricey for me. However, if you'd like to trade for one of my soon to be shipped "Omnia Vincit Amor" personal coins, let me know. Thanks.
+Geo Gypsy Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 1: I think the concept for "out for justice" is in relation to geocoins turning up missing. 2: At this point there are only 300 being made. This being said it is a PC icon. ***If the pre order goes to 500 then we will increase the availabilty and also have a unique icon which would be a sheriff badge.......However at this time it is a PC icon*** 3: I do not know any of the cost/pricing details. but I do aplogize that I typed 9.95 and it should be 8.95 I will correct that.....

+GA Cacher Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 SO you first say you are selling only 200, then you say making only 300 now you talk about maybr 500? Which will it be? Too many coins out now that have a very long strech to show any relavance to geocaching.

+FlyinV Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Starting to re-think our pre-order... $11... generic pc icon...
+ou8alizzard Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Starting to re-think our pre-order... $11... generic pc icon... hummm same here
+AtlantaGal Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I preordered for 2, I assume the $2 shipping covers BOTH coins since it is only $.87 to ship 2 coins. Otherwise, I too might rethink my preorder. This coin should be $7 and even then you'd still profit from it.
+SharpShin' Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp? ...and the brothers, Virgil & Morgan.
+ChileHead Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Why don't these people have eyes? They were so surprised at the price of a PC coin their eyes popped out!
+Mauison Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I'm also passing at this one since I still don't understand what it has to do with geocaching.
+Geo Gypsy Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 Yes shipping is $2.00 total........NOT per coin..........Thanks for bringing that up.
+Shop99er Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I am also going to pass on this. Why? Price, no evident relationship to geocaching, and I'm not a big fan of the Earps and Holiday.
+Marky Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I kinda had to buy it since Joani is related to Wyatt Earp. I may have still bought it anyeway, who knows. --Marky
+Team PEZ Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Yes shipping is $2.00 total........NOT per coin..........Thanks for bringing that up. still too expensive - it costs less then a buck to ship a coin.
+ScoutingWV Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Why don't these people have eyes? Maybe because justice is blind? sorry ...
hirlas Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) Why don't these people have eyes? Maybe because justice is blind? sorry ... they paid the extra $1.50 per coin for tracking, and couldn't afford the extra ink for the eyes! j/k Edited February 14, 2006 by hirlas
+Geo Gypsy Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 I never really payed attention to the eyes. I did think it looked funny when I saw them but they are not mine so I never questioned it before........ Ok so the reason there are no eyes is because they looked to much like things on there faces rather then eyes. Now I did not see that photo but I am being told that the no eyes looks better then if they had eyes. I just like doc holiday so who am i to complain.......Oh wait, or was it just val Kilmer. .......Oh well either way
+Geo Gypsy Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 ****UPDATE**** There will be a unique icon for this one. The icon has already been designed and it will be used.
+Family Cacher Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I was wondering if most of these coins that everyone buys are being shipped from the east coast. I live in the west coast and pay $1.67 every month for two coins first class mail from the east coast.
LoriDarlin Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 oh my gosh...well I HAVE to have this coin! In our other hobby we dress up and make believe we are these people LOL gee...maybe I should tell our other cowboy action shooting friends about these coins!! Why I've shot with Doc Holiday, True Grit, Calamity Jane, well gosh...with all of them...LOL ok ok...not the real mcCoys but you get the drift!! Thank you for making this coin Sent you an email...hope it doesn't go into your spam folder now
+Shop99er Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I kinda had to buy it since Joani is related to Wyatt Earp. I may have still bought it anyeway, who knows. --Marky Nothing personal, Joani

+Geo Gypsy Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 (edited) Who all is behind this coin? The team behind this geocoin is twinbabies2000. I was merely trying to help this team out a little since they are new but I have nothing to do with this coin. I was asked to take the orders and compile them into a spreadsheet which I am doing. The coin idea, design, release, and any other issues should be directed directly to them. I will continue to take the orders for this coin as that's what I committed myself to, But please address them with any questions regarding quantities, price, or anything else not directly related to the quanity you are ordering. Sorry for any confusion that I have caused......(I think I will stick with my day job) Edited February 15, 2006 by Geo Gypsy
+Kealia Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 So let's see, twinbabies2000 joined 2/1//06, has no finds, and is putting out a coin that has nothing to do with caching. Sorry to sound negative, but what the heck is going on.......?

+LadeBear68 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Where is that emoticon of the picture of us beating a dead horse? Someone can change names, I changed mine a week into caching.
+Kealia Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Yes, but the profile says 'just joined' and I believe you keep your stats when you change your name. In any case, my point is that with the craze of coins it seems that the first thing people do now is create a coin to make some money and I'm a bit tired of seeing coins that have nothing to do with caching. I'm going into production with me HeeHaw coins next. First up - Ellie May For those that buy the whole set, you get the LE Grandma coin free.
+Chooch72 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Email sent for 2. thanx for the opportunity.
+LadeBear68 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 (edited) So the welcome committee is now: welcome to geocoin forums, before you can put out a cache (oops, coin) you must have been a member for 175 1/2 days, have 301 finds and 11 hides. If you put out a coin before that time, you are a money hungry wanna be geocacher. Edited February 15, 2006 by LadeBear68
