Dru Morgan Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 This is funny on too many levels. I am flattered. Now for the quote that I put on the original log... +Markwell Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 Not a quote, but an interesting observation. We have a statue of a bust of Lincoln in Illinois, and everyone thinks it's good luck to rub his nose. Consequently, the only part of the bust that looks polished is his nose. Notice this statue. Apparently many people sit on her lap or next to her, as those areas are highly polished - but I also notice there's another highly polished (but not as highly polished) area next to Dru's elbow. +VegasCacheHounds Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 The polished areas of bronze statues bit reminds me of the mermaid statues at the Mirage Hotel and Casino here in Las Vegas. There always seems to be an awful lot of smudges and fingerprints on their breasts and buttocks (oddly enough, the mermaids have buttocks sticking out of their tails). Shannon VegasCacheHounds Quote
