GeoPirates2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I'll admit, I'm curious. Done. 4 people participated so far... A lot of people has done it today....It was up to 67 people when I just did it. The category 12-20 is a very wide range of age....but oh well! I was number 69. Go figure. That is a good number in my book
Uberquandary Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I just noticed this. Done. I'm not surprised at the spread, it seems like every cache I meet is at least 40 and I've been the youngest cacher who drove herself at each event I've been to.
+Blaidd-Drwg Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 It's nice to see that the distribution of the group represents a bell shape curve
+Confucius' Cat Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Well, I did it. Did you want chronological age or the age one wishes one were?
+Yosemite Dan Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I did it too, but, really I'm 23 with an old mans body, it's not mine!
knowschad Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 # 1419 to add age According to that, it looks as though I'm on the downswing.
+Team FIREBOY Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Another Wyomingite chimes in. Done. Not surprised by the results.
+izzyvet Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I just did the poll too. I'm in the most common age group, go figure.
+Chance Explorers Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 WOW! What a suprise the average is a lot higher than I expected. We are in the 21-30 group.
+ChiefWings Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Got’er done. I found it interesting the number of 90+. Thanks for the survey. I’ve decided to start using my “caching” age instead of my old worn out age. I’m 10 months old!
+uk89camaro Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I found it interesting the number of 90+. me too!
+robbymcdobby Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Nobody likes you when you're 23. What's my age again? What's my age again?
+ncparolelady Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Added my vote. Now I just need to narrow it down to how many in my age range (31-40) are single guys so I can figure out the chances of ever finding a "geocaching partner"!!!
+Sospetto Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Done it again. As far as I remember the cacher community age was higher in the last poll in 2007.
+rafermadness Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Nice to know that my fellow cachers are the same age I am (generally speaking of course).
Bill Waypoint Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I think the first age bracket is to wide. There is a vast difference between a 12 year old and and eighteen year old. That is just my opinion though and I am probably bias.
+Zolgar Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 My standard response is "Old enough to know better, but still too young to care." that not being an option, I submitted a truthful answer.
+team lagonda Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 i took the poll, now if only i could find that derned fishin line..
+Seasoned Warrior Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I voted. I thought that it was a w ell shaped bell curve, probably representative of the population at large. I thought it would be skewed towards the retired.
+dan8055 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 i did it but its obvios what age i am because in my profile it says im 14 awesome idea!!! (i just had to use this when i knowticed it)
+Keruso Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 put my vote in, thought there would be more 22 year olds out there, though with my knees i feel 55 at times
+nativefly182 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Voted! Don't mind letting everyone know my age I'll be 68 in July & yesterday I "Bushwacked" for close to 5 hours to get to two caches.
+StumpWater Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Done. I have kids below the lowest age group and they have accounts and log finds (sometimes). Shame they can't be counted. StumpWater
