The Jester Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 My brain keeps saying 'I'm 25' and my body keeps saying 'Oh, no you're not!' I voted with my body...
Paladin8 Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I noticed someone has started an new thread in "Getting Started" asking people to give their ages. There's an old thread in this area asking the same thing. The problem with asking people to post their ages, there's no way to summarize the results (Also, some people don't want to state their ages publicly ). So, I've created a poll, and I'm asking everyone to give there age one more time. This will really let us see the pattern of geocacher ages. So Go Here and enter your age anonymously. Then look at the results to see the pattern. Also, post something here saying you did it so this thread won't slide off the radar screen. Interesting that teenagers and those in their sixties are exactly the same amount...
tx snowbird Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 (edited) I did it. Thought I would be the oldest. Not so!!! Yay!! Edited February 26, 2007 by tx snowbird
Lighteye Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 lemme see... I remember Vietnam, the first moonwalk, ... I don't remember much else since then, it's been a blur!
greyhounder Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Did it too. Interesting stats. At this point, the majority of cachers fall in the 41-50 year age group. Fascinating. (still in the 31-40 age group myself) Becky
Iowa Tom Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Well...I see that I'm over the hill. I would rather be over it than under it though. -it
WaltherShooter Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Did it... Had to hurry before I went into the next age group.
Jim McDonald Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Feel like 92 today!, but indicated my true age instead.
Billy Goatee Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 (edited) Im in the second highest bracket, holding 24% of the poll results. #550 as well. Edited March 21, 2007 by Mtnman1830

Jollylolly Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 My Number's In But..... I was faced with a dilemma. I've just celebrated my 50th... Thank you! Thank you! Sooooo now..., do I fall into the 41-50, or 51-60 ??? Any which way, I counted one for us old guys. Seems there's enough young blood soaking up the geo waves!
Sancho Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Two for one answer survey and adding to my post total
MissJenn Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I'm in there now. I'm just slightly younger than Ed.
J-Way Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Voted, and the results kinda makes sense... the primary age is the group with grown children and fairly advanced in careers. They have enough money and time to pursue this, and are still young enough to embrace the technology. IMHO. Jason
Team_Jodocus Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Im 51 don't mind who knows, but after a days work I feel a MUCH MUCH older.
Thrak Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I'm one of the group that were some of the last ones to start school with only 48 stars on the flag.
Fred Flintstone Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Thanks for the graph. It is pretty interesting to see the age and percentages as more people vote. Now for the next question, Male or Female? I suspect, mostly males. Yabba! Dabba! Do!
Miragee Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Ahem . . . Actually, there are lots of women cachers . . .
X-isle Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Forty two? I was 42 once. Can't remember it though. Hey, 42 is the answer to the BIG question. "Life, the universe, and ... everything". Go Zaphod. I was stoned out of my mind when I first saw that movie . Thanks for the memories.
teribear68 Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I did the poll. I was happy to notice that a lot of us are in my age bracket and the one I'm about to enter.
G_Manners Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I did it. Interesting results, I've always been curious about that....
Nochipra Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 We did it. There is two of us so we voted twice because we are in two different categories.
