And thanks to Knowschad for giving me the heads up!

Thanks very much to lilrunningbear for rescuing the log, I'll have the cache reinstated as soon as possible…and, of course, I'd be glad to show you the ropes if you are interested! Cheers, gt

With a very short time left on these coins now, I'd just like to thank everyone that has taken the time to look at, or buy, one or more of them. Thank you very much, I appreciate it! geotrowel

Just hours left! Hurry!

Very little time left now, pre-sale closes Saturday 15th!

And thank you very much for your kind words, fox-and-the-hounds. Even though I am interested in that period of history, I spent a bit of time on research and background to make sure I had things right before I sent off the write-up. Glad you like it! Makes it all worthwhile!

Thanks VW_keychain! I've been to the Uffington White Horse (actually I was on my honeymoon!) and I have to say, although I hadn't thought of it, there is a certain resemblance. I wonder if the horse was a common symbol of freedom throughout Iron Age Britain? I'll have to look into that a bit further!

Just a day left now!

Apologies to everyone that's been confused by my multiple posts. I didn't realise that there was only one post per coin … sorry.

Not long left now! And if Coins and Pins can sell a few more, there'll be an icon!

There's not long left to pre-order on of my new Camulodunum coins. I think it may be as soon as Thursday! So hurry and order yours now! The coin's size is 1.75", it's available in antique bronze, antique silver and polished gold, and is trackable on geocaching.com. If enough sell, there will be an icon. The design is based on several ancient Celtic coins minted in Camulodunum (modern day Colchester, UK), around the time of the Roman invasion of Britain. It's meant as a tribute to the wonderful artistry of the Celtic people and their cultural legacy. Hurry, there's not much time left! [/img]

Thanks BlueMotmot!

I also forgot to mention that if Coins and Pins sell enough of these coins, there will be an icon associated with it on geocaching.com

Forgot to mention, you only have until 15 November to get one of these coins! They probably won't be available again after that, unless C&P decide there's enough demand.

Hi there! Just to let everyone know that my new geocoin, the "Camulodunum" coin is now available on Coins and Pins pre-sale. I think it's a stunning idea! It'll make it easier to see which caches I've tried and failed on, and'll give me extra incentive to go back and bag 'em!

Wenham Walk (GC13QAK) in the UK is one of the strangest places I've visited. Fairly normal walk to the cache, but the little area around the hide was like a time warp, back to the middle ages. There's a castle-like house, two or three old barns and a lovely old church. But, even at 10:30 on a Sunday morning, the place was really, really spooky. Sadly, my camera chose this moment to run out of battery, so no pics. I'll go back one day and take some photos… if I have the nerve!

Done… my age group seems quite popular

Mine's pretty boring and straightforward… I'm really into archaeology, hence 'trowel' and geo is pretty self-explanatory! Mind you, I've thought up several better names since I registered! Nevermind, geotrowel it is…
