+PC Painter
Today I was pretty bummed about driving 43 miles attempting an FTF, only to find nothing, and later find out that the clues left to solve the puzzle, had an error in them. By the time the owner fixed them, I was back home, and FTF was someone else's. So, I'm sitting at home, watching TV, and I check for new caches....BINGO! Unelievable...only .12 miles from my house! I can't tell you how fast I moved on that one. Found out there was another new one up just 2.5 miles away, and flew out to that one....Woohoo! My first two FTF's EVER, and I get them in ONE night....less than 2 hours apart! Is that some sort of record? If not....please lie to me I needed the ego boost, after this morning, LOL! +Pork King
I got my first 2 FTF's about 10 minutes part. They were simple micros on a small community college campus. I was raised up not to lie! ; Quote Link to comment
+Team Perks
Best I've done is 5 FTF's in a day...and with the competition so fierce in my area, I wasn't even expecting them. Quote Link to comment
MMACH 5
Way to go PCP! I'm pretty sure you'll have bigger FTF nights, before you know it, (I've had six in a night on three different occasion). Quote Link to comment
+Contryguy
Actually I had 4 FTF in one day and they were 40+ from first to last. Didn't set out to be FTF on them it just worked out that way. This was the first: Riverbend , the second was: Loup Junction about 2.5 miles away as the crow flies, the third was: "P TOWN" about 39 miles SW as the crow flies and the 4th was: "SARTORIA" about 7.5 miles west of "P TOWN". We also did another one or two along the way home. It was just a nice Sunday drive. Altogether about 150 miles caching that Sunday afternoon Quote Link to comment
+planetrobert
8 for me =) Quote Link to comment
+Clueless&Clumsy
Well we did 2 FTF tonight but the most we have had in one day was 4. Quote Link to comment
Bobthearch
I had three in one day. Had to drive 80 miles each way, but I got 'em. Another time I got two in one day - they were part of a series. -Bob Quote Link to comment
+PC Painter
LOL...it's a good thing we all know we're talking about caches! Ok well...so I didn't break any records, but it was still a thrill to get them! Quote Link to comment
+evergreenhiker!
Well, earlier this summer I had quite a streak going. Wienerdog put a bunch out and I mean a bunch out...I got FTF on all of them except maybe a couple of them. I think I got 19 FTFs in a matter of three days. Outside of that time, I'd got 5 ftfs one time and 4 ftfs couple other times. Think my total is around 126 career FTFs. None since summer though. Quote Link to comment
+GPSKitty
I had been caching for about 9 months and had somewhere in the neighborhood of 170 finds before I got my first FTF. Then I got 4 in a row! But it was a new series along a trail and I was lucky enough to be on vacation and I was the first cacher to hit the trail. Quote Link to comment
+Katydid & Miles Stone
Miles Stone recently had 4 in one day. I wasn't along because I wouldn't get up at the unGodly hour he will. ~ Katydid Quote Link to comment
+planetrobert
Now that I think about it... My first find EVER was a FTF :D Quote Link to comment
+JohnnyVegas
I found five in one day. Quote Link to comment
+Runaround
One cacher here in NE Ohio had 13 in one day when a local park district released a city-wide group of caches mid-week. Quote Link to comment
+JMBella
5 is my record. I think I've gotten more DNFs in one day that FTFs, I must have been on LSD or PCP, just make sure you log your DNFs ASAP and you should be A OK. Quote Link to comment

+PC Painter
I haven't had any FTF yet. Yeah, but people who like peas, don't deserve FTF's. Quote Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
Four in one day, for me. The caches were all pretty much in a straight line, along a couple of mile stretch of various parks. Unbeknownst to me, there was another cacher following in my footsteps. His logs are pretty funny, as you can see the level of frustration rise. Log, Log, Log, and Log. There were actually 5 caches put out that day, but I declined to do the one multi, for time considerations, and he did get his first FTF on that one. rescue557
What is FTF ? Sorry I am new at this. FTF = First To Find Some people go crazy about being the very first one to find a cache. I myself have gone slightly nuts at times, but so far I've only logged 1 FTF. Quote Link to comment
+amytincan
I haven't had any FTF yet. Yeah, but people who like peas, don't deserve FTF's. I provided 2 FTF to a finder. People who like peas can't be all that bad. Quote Link to comment

+radioscout
I had at least 3 FTFs on one day. It was not planned (I don't care a pap for FTFs) and I just wondered why no one has logged these nice caches. Quote Link to comment
+Moose Mob
I've had 5 FTF's in a day. I have had several doubles, and one triple. I quit tracking those as far as totla count, but still strive to get FTF on those caches near the house or those caches that have gone unfound for many many months (level 4 and above). I have at least 3 FTFs with at least 2,000 ft elevation gain. Quote Link to comment
+Corp Of Discovery
20 in one day, 10-24-04. This included 15 in a row. Time for those: 1 hour 10 minutes. We added 5 more in the next two hours, for a total of 20 in 3 hours, all FTF's. There were others we found in between those and the rest of the day. Quote Link to comment

Where they all hiddin by one or two cachers? All in the same general area? mostly micro? That's pretty impressive at any rate. Nice job. Quote Link to comment
+kingsting
I had 7 in one day. One of our premier local cachers put out a series of theme caches and I had off work on the day after most of them showed up. They were just little plastic micros but the locations were great and some of the hiding methods were brilliant. Quote Link to comment
Pipanella
I've had two FTFs, PERIOD. We're pretty much in a cache-starved area, so the opportunity to be FTF is very limited. It's not a big deal to me, to be FTF, unless, of course, there is a nice prize for being FTF. Quote Link to comment
+dshifter
I had six FTF's this summer around Elk River, Idaho. Had to work my "you know what off" to get them. They were all put out by the same person-ttabs. Quote Link to comment
+Muddy Buddies
We had 4 FTF's in 1 day, but the one we're most proud of is a FTF that we ended up driving 170 miles, 5 parts to the multi-cache and about 8.5 hours of elapsed time to do the cache. It's called Krugerrand Run. The FTF prize was a .25 oz Krugerrand. WooHoo! Also, that same day, we did about 4 other caches along the way. Quote Link to comment

They were all micros hidden by two fellow cachers for an event. All are permanent caches. Check this cache for details of the series: Bob99. Quote Link to comment
