bikr Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 (edited) Hey Mike, I still want about $40 to $50 worth. Since I work in J town and don't have a pay pal, would it be easier for me to just pick them up from you when they come in? Drop me an email, or let me know here. Edit.... By the way, I will be out of state until Jan 1. Edited December 17, 2004 by bikr
Kealia Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Just PayPal'd my $$ for 3 coins to head out to sunny CA - thanks.
primofam Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Okay!!!!! The coins are in!!! I am working on packing, labeling, and sorting through the coins. Silly me. I figured, "they'll be numbered that'll be easy". Would have been easy if they were stacked numerically in the boxes. My son is earning "5 whole dollars" to sort them this week . Should be in the mail soon. There are only about 150 left. Anybody wanting any, come on!

KC0GRN Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Whoohoo! Christmas is saved Hope I get a nice number. in my washington ones I ended up with about middle of the lot, but made one number fit as a local area code (I was graspin at straws to make any of the numbers interesting).
joefrog Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Whoohoo! Christmas is saved Hope I get a nice number. Ditto! I hope, I hope!
bitbrain Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Whoohoo! Christmas is saved Hope I get a nice number. Ditto! I hope, I hope! Sorry, guys. I already called dibs on all the interesting numbers.
Spencersb Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 One favor...I assume the coins are numbered 1-500? I want coin number 357. Any numbers before or after are fine, I just want that number, if you don't mind! Um, whoosa call dibs on all the interesting numbers?
primofam Posted December 28, 2004 Author Posted December 28, 2004 Well, As of today (Tuesday) All orders have been mailed. Some were priority mail, some were first class-just depended on weight and cost. Give ample time and then contact me (mprimeaux@jpc-pa.com) if you haven't gotten your coins, or any problems. I feel like I should put an Ebay disclaimer "PLEASE contact me before leaving negative feedback" All in all, I had gotten about $120 for shipping costs. It took right at $115. Thanks for the tips everyone! There are exactly 123 coins as of today. I appreciate everyone's help because my visa bill just came in the mail last week!
bitbrain Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 You have 123 left? After my bills come in from the holiday, I may take more off your hands. At my current rate of caching, though, it'll take me a while to drop them.
2gether Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Received mine in the mail today. They really look good. Thanks again primofam, you did a good job.
Spencersb Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Hey, Mike. Bring all you've got with you to the GOWT founders meeting. I may have to come get mine sooner! must wait...must...wait...must...CAN'T WAIT!
primofam Posted December 29, 2004 Author Posted December 29, 2004 2gether, Glad you like them. Thanks for the order! SpencerSB, You won't have to wait long. I shipped yours today. Even the "SpEcIaL" one
budd-rdc Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 I'd like to order 5 "GOWT" coins if they are still available. I'll PayPal $20 which should cover the shipping. I haven't done any GeoCaching in Tennesee yet, except to solve the Long Distance Call puzzle cache.
Hoot Owl Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Thanks for all of your work. As Spencersb said, bring them to the GOWT meeting and the rest may be taken there. Thanks Again!!
BigDaddyD Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Mike, Good job on the coins! I'll take 10 if you wouldn't mind bringing them to me in CCU at General. I'll be there any Saturday or Sunday as I work the Baylor shift now. I rarely see you there on the weekends so if this will be a problem just let me know and I will go through PayPal. Good to see someone else I know has been bitten by the Geochache bug!
Hoot Owl Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Received my coins today! Thanks Primofam! They look GREAT! If you have any left by the GOWT meeting I may buy more. Or I may not wait and just get more. Thanks Again.....
Spencersb Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 I feel safe in saying Mike will leave the GOWT founders meeting without any more excess coins. BTW, cool new forum look there, oh wise noctural bird!

LindaLu Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Hi! I was one of the lucky two to get one of these coins at the WSGA Party -- so cool, thanks! I'm having trouble logging it at travelertags.com (which is what's printed on the coin), send me an email to my geocaching email if you can help me.. Thanks again for the neat geo-coin!

Spencersb Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I GOT COINS! Including the mystical SpEcIaL number! They arrived safely, even if the postman did deliver them to my neighbor around the corner! (not anything you did, Mike) The coins are awesome, and so is PRIMO!!!
Allanon Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I must be missing an important chemical in my neuro-transmatter system or something...so could someone tell me where the activation codes for the coins are...please?
Night_Hawk Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I have coins I received #'s 195-199 Thanks primofam for all your hard work.
primofam Posted December 31, 2004 Author Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) LindaLu, this is the website (as printed on the coins). www.travelertags.com Allanon, I will check your numbers and email your activation codes. They should have been on a little piece of paper. Email me your actual name and I can look that up for you (I recorded which coins I shipped to each person just in case I forgot to send the activation codes ) Correct that-I found your email and have mailed the codes. let me know if there is a problem. Edited December 31, 2004 by primofam
Spencersb Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Um...Primo, I think I need the activation code for the fo'special #357. You cut out #'s 26-55 for me. Thanks! Steve
primofam Posted December 31, 2004 Author Posted December 31, 2004 Um...Primo, I think I need the activation code for the fo'special #357. You cut out #'s 26-55 for me. Man your picky . I'll get that in an email real soon. As I said before, I feel like an ebay seller. Please don't send negative feedback until I have a chance to correct it. You guys have been great!!!!!!! Primo
Allanon Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Oops...See I told you...missing brain matter on my part. That extra little piece of paper was hiding in the envelope all along. Silly me, I thought it would be on/near the BIG piece of paper that I found easily... I really hate it when I'm stupid... Sorry...
primofam Posted December 31, 2004 Author Posted December 31, 2004 I really hate it when I'm stupid... Welcome to MY world!
primofam Posted December 31, 2004 Author Posted December 31, 2004 I think I know some of the problems some may be having. When you get your account set up and log in, click on the tab for tag setup/edit. This should take you to a page to enter the coin(s) number and activation code. It will then be registered to you and you can set up the description/goals/pictures of the coin. Continue to email me with problems. Thanks. Mike
GeoCrickets Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) I put on two orders. One order was for 3 coins about 2 months ago and 5 last week.
