+Bluegrass Gyrl
Hopefully, when I post this image it won't be too small to see. This creature was in a field near my house. He was munchin' on something...definatley a carnivore (I counted my cats...thanks!). As a look at the picture...I am leaning towards a red fox. But...he did not have a bushy tail. Do young foxes not have bushy tails? He was quite inquisitive and did not seem bothered too much by the cows in the field. What's your vote? +PandyBat
I don't see anything. Maybe the pic is taking too long to load for me or something. Quote Link to comment

+PandyBat
Thanks MuirWoody! Looks like a fox to me. Maybe their tails aren't as bushy this time of year. Quote Link to comment
+Gizmo & Brazin
Maybe a new breed, the Foxena? Looks like a fox that went on a 'date' with a hyena, to me. O.k., guess we'll just go for a fox vote. Quote Link to comment
Pilgrim, Rhubarb, & Sweet Pea
Chupa-cabra! Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Tiny picture, but it's likely a fox with a serious Lice parasite problem. Quote Link to comment

I saw a pic of a dog with mange once and that was how the back half looked. Any Vets here? A professional opinion? Quote Link to comment
+pater47
Looks like a red fox in early stage of sarcoptic mange. The hair follicles in the tail usually let go first. Quote Link to comment

lisavemt
I'd go with fox also. I see one every time I go home from work at around midnight. And aside from the poor baby's tail, that one looks like my buddy who waves good bye to me on evenings when I work. Ok, so he doesn't wave. But I do see him all the time. +Doggiewoggie
Very nice. Is that your new vitual cache? If you think that's bad, looking up "mange" on google images when you don't have your kiddie filter on yields some pretty hair-curling results... Quote Link to comment
+Bilder
Fox with reverse male pattern baldness. Quote Link to comment
+Robespierre
Chupa-cabra! Hang on to your blood! Black tips to ears, black leggings, red coat....and mange. Farmers I know try to run 'em over with tractor when they're mangy. Quote Link to comment
