  1. You might want to try doing a search for caches in those areas and then look at profiles for active cachers. That's how I found my partner for logging this cache.
  2. It kinda sounds like a sucide note... dosnt it? Niss I thought it sounded like she had met a "new love" and was finding a way to gain closure with a dear departed so she could move on. Very message-in-a-bottle'ish!!
  3. Hopefully, when I post this image it won't be too small to see. This creature was in a field near my house. He was munchin' on something...definatley a carnivore (I counted my cats...thanks!). As a look at the picture...I am leaning towards a red fox. But...he did not have a bushy tail. Do young foxes not have bushy tails? He was quite inquisitive and did not seem bothered too much by the cows in the field. What's your vote?
  4. DH, I am copying and pasting the specs for file uploads from their website. Thanks! • File is in TIFF format (.tif) at 600 dpi. • Image must be saved in a line-art (bitmap) mode. We will not accept grayscale or color files. • File size is under 2-3 MB in size, please contact us if over 3MB. • We may not accept files such as Word files as custom art, as fonts may not be available. • We will also accept vector based files (such as an .eps) if outlines have been created on the fonts or no fonts are used in the file.
  5. Hey DinoHunters! I am hoping you can help. I am trying to order a custom stamp made with your stupendous art work!! The company has asked me to remove the shadow and to increase dpi to 600. Can you help? If that would result in a file too big to post feel free to email it to me! Thanks! BGG
  6. DinoHunters: Love it!!! Looking foward to Monday...but this one looks darn good. THANKS!!!!!!!
  7. I would love to have something like this modified to add the "Gyrl" part. I plan to have a stamp made with the image too! Thanks!!! BGG
  8. I found this interesting driftwood near this cache . Wonder what he found so funny!?
  9. Headed to Motown soon and want to bring along a TB. There is a TB currently in Maine and the goal is to visit islands. Are there island or peninsula caches near Detroit? Thanks!
  10. Ok...this is a bit embarassing to admit. Hey..I think I'll just blame it on Motown Dawg!! Anyhoo...went caching the morning before a big snowstorm hit in Maine. Somehow the GPSr ended up on the ground next to the front door. Then it was buried under a foot of snow. It's whereabouts were unbeknownst to me and so of course a replacement had to be secured. Considered an upgrade, but decided to stick with what I know. Following the thaw...we found the original unit. It works FINE!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I am an audiologist. Want to see me self-combust? Just say, "what!?, huh?, what did ya say?!" Come on...d'ya really think you're the FIRST one to think of that!? As for when I cache....we plan weekend sojourns completely around caching. I have also been know to grab a cache at dawn (usually motivated by the potential to be FTF) before work.
  12. Rock On! Hope we get to this plateau ourselves some day
