What Is This?

Hopefully, when I post this image it won't be too small to see. This creature was in a field near my house. He was munchin' on something...definatley a carnivore (I counted my cats...thanks!). As a look at the picture...I am leaning towards a red fox. But...he did not have a bushy tail. Do young foxes not have bushy tails? He was quite inquisitive and did not seem bothered too much by the cows in the field. What's your vote? Fox.JPG

Tiny picture, but it's likely a fox with a serious Lice parasite problem.

Good call Elf! I bet you are right. I saw a pic of a dog with mange once and that was how the back half looked. Any Vets here? A professional opinion?

I'd go with fox also. I see one every time I go home from work at around midnight. And aside from the poor baby's tail, that one looks like my buddy who waves good bye to me on evenings when I work.

Ok, so he doesn't wave. But I do see him all the time.

Very nice. Is that your new vitual cache?

<_<:o:D

If you think that's bad, looking up "mange" on google images when you don't have your kiddie filter on yields some pretty hair-curling results... :D
