+Criminal
What is your favorite type of pencil to log a geocache? I have long favored the good old #2 myself. I’m excited to hear what your favorite is. +Renegade Knight
It's not the size of the pencil, it's how you sign your name. Even so a Dixon Ticonderoga Magnum is my pencil of choice. Quote Link to comment
Pantalaimon
Its not how you sign your name, its how hard your lead is. Even so a gigantic inflatable novelty yellow pencil is my pencil of choice. Quote Link to comment
+Geofool
I like to use a Clickster® myself. Criminal, what an exciting topic. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Quote Link to comment

+JMBella
I tripped over a pencil once on my way to a cache. Luckily for the sake of this thread it was a #2 yellow, which is my favorite kind pencil. Dosen't that just make you all pee your pants, slap ya momma in the head happy! Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. Because now I am Lost. Quote Link to comment
+Gorak
I prefer premium unleaded writing instruments. ____________ Gorak I love frogs. They taste like chicken. Yum. +BadAndy
My favorite caching pencil is quite large, much larger than most. The only ammocans that can accomodate it are the older wide type. I once tried whacking off the end for a micro....but it didn't work out. "Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!" Quote Link to comment

+eroyd
Those rainbow ones really snap the lead in my pencil. On the other hand, mechanical ones are a real deboner. Quote Link to comment
Broncoholics
A carpenters pencil works fine too. Our feet go where the caches are! Quote Link to comment

umc
Yeppers I like to use carpenters pencils too. I also like leaving them in caches that need a pencil. Something about sharpening them with a knife.... MiGO __________________________ Caching with a clue.... Quote Link to comment
+New England n00b
I prefer #4 hard lead art sketching pencil. That way, it is nearly impossible for anyone to read the log without a big ol' magnifying glass and a lot of light. And if the log is damp, you'll need a forensic specialist to read it! Muhahahahahahaaaaaaa! --------------------- It wasn't me. Quote Link to comment

+Team GPSaxophone
If the #2 pencil is the most popular, why is it still #2? Took sun from sky, left world in eternal darkness Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
Definately, my favorite pencil to sign a log with is someone elses... (Did I say that?) Quote Link to comment
+marinor
surely it is not the size or colour of the pencil that counts, only the education, experience and capabilities of the handler. Life is just an illusion, albeit a very elaborate one. Quote Link to comment
+pater47
I prefer a #2 pencil, but if I can't find one, I'll use two #1s. Visit the Mississippi Geocaching Forum at http://pub98.ezboard.com/bgeocachingms Quote Link to comment

+Johnnie Stalkers
It just depends on what cache I am after. If I happen to be on my Vespa Scooter tracking down a cache from that 'other site' in a Pickle Park.................. Understand what? My purpose? You know that. To find the Tower is my purpose. Do you remember the "old days" back when we used to enjoy the forums. Back when we enjoyed reading them for their humorous content alone. Back when we weren't all so Politically Correct? Ahhhh... the old days.... P.S. - On Topic (an accident - I assure you...) my wife won't let me carry sharp instruments like a pencil so I have to sign the log books in crayon or with a bloddy finger... --majicman Quote Link to comment
