MatthiasFromMarburg Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Dear Geocachers, I would be happy if you could spend 2-3 minutes filling out the following two-page survey: Survey about Geocaching It's for academic purposes only, will just be used within a seminar and not be published. I am familar with the forum guidelines which normally do not allow surveys but I have asked Groundspeak for permission to post this one. Thank you for your attention, yours Matt Quote

Knight2000 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 the options were a bit limited but meh... It's missing "since never". I can't take it as the options are incomplete. Quote
ksohm Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Done. I hope the info helps you in your research. Quote
TheBeanTeam Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 It's missing "since never". I can't take it as the options are incomplete. I had several "since never" answers too but just left those unchecked altogether. Seemed to work. Quote
wimseyguy Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I think there is a bit of a language disconnect here, but if you get the data you are after-more power to you. Quote
TheMayfieldFamily Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 i also added my 2 cents... hope it helps =) Quote
TheAlabamaRambler Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Done. You should have your instructor look at your survey; I can't imagine how those questions and answers will provide any usable information. Your instructor can guide you to a survey methodology that will net relevant information. Quote
nericksx Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Maybe it's not about the survey data. Maybe the students are going to analyze snarky and crabby forum responses to a questionable survey and gather data about forum dynamics How meta. Quote
Pasha88 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Ha ha ha... as a third year university student having taken stats, psych and biology, this is the type of stuff you have to do ALL THE TIME for the first 3 years. Boring, but if it gets you an A, good job. Quote
bvg08 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Done and good luck. Hope to see your results and interpretation. Quote
popokiiti Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Done and good luck with your seminar! I'd be interested in your results also. Quote
bflentje Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Done. But to maintain some semblance of margin for error, I answered all of the questions blindfolded. Good luck. Quote
PinkPrincess1967 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Survey done I'd also be interested in the results and report. Quote
mwellman Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Done. Hopefully a Canadian reply doesn't mess up your results. Quote
D0kt0r_D Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Done. Hopefully a Canadian reply doesn't mess up your results. If it did then I added to it... Quote
