Sol seaker
Is there a way to check results after a while? For those who got in early and want to know the results now (until we know how to check them) age/ number of voters/ percentage as of today, April 24th at 9:45 am 12 - 20 9 voters 4% 21-30 34 17% 31-40 53 26% 41- 50 58 28% 51-60 30 15% 61-70 13 6% 71-80 1 0% 81-90 5 2% I find it interesting we've got more at 61-70 than we do 12-20, but then again, that may represent how many read the forums, rather than how many play the game... +BC
A couple of years ago I started a poll to learn the ages of geocachers. It turned out to be popular and over time collected almost 10000 answers, giving a good feel for average ages. The website that I used for the poll went belly-up within the last few weeks. So, I am starting over. This time I'll take screen captures periodically so we don't lose all the results. So, I'm asking everyone to give there age one more time, so we can again have some idea of the pattern of geocacher ages. So Click Here and enter your age anonymously. Then look at the results to see the pattern. Also, post something here saying you did it so this thread won't slide off the radar screen. Link to comment
brainandbraun
did it for both brain and braun. If you want to check results at any time, all you have to do is open the link again, like you did when you entered your info, and then click on "view stats" rather than entering an age. Link to comment

Mick-n-Nick
Done--that's 2 more for 31-40...no spot for my boys (they're under 12) but no big deal as they certainly are not WILLING participants...unless the description promises kids toys...then they're all over it! (Yes, I resort to bribery...also "Just be quiet and catch up" at loud decibels seems to work well, too. If I have to put up with Chuck E. Cheese, they can certainly walk a few measely miles for a smiley face on my log ) Link to comment

The Lemonheads
Did it, and looked @ the stats... Being a marketer, I must ask: is this game/sport built by and for Gen Xers? :-) (Not that we don't open doors to everyone else, but I look at the stats, and well... ya know!) 34 for the record (Princess Lemonhead: 32 in Aug) Link to comment
markandsandy
It's really sad when you have to stop and think for a moment to remember how old you are. Both of us 51-60 group. Link to comment

atmospherium
Done. 43 and determinedly immature for my age. It looks like the 30-something crowd is pulling ahead. C'mon my fellow almost-ready-for-that-mid-life-crisis cachers! We can't let these infants show us up. This is great that folks of all ages are active in geocaching. We're all hip and happenin'. +steve p
Is there a problem with that survey site? When I clicked the link the only thing there is: "Geocachers, Tell Us Your Age Please, only vote if you're a geocacher and please don't vote more than once" There is nothing else but that text.
