wow - giftee overwhelmed thanks Santa! These were locked away safely by the houseelves while we were away. The

parcel was overflowing with gorgeous coins and adorable little cacheables we will have fun sharing around down under. Will treasure the purrrrsonal coin especially

 

I'm sorry I only found this when we got home - santa of course was on time - he lodged his flightplan with air services australia Air traffic controllers reported that his flight was smooth, and uneventful.

 

Santa left Australian airspace just after midnight West Australian time, heading for Papua New Guinea.

Australian pilots have been warned to keep out of Santa's way tomorrow night.

 

Most pilots should be fast asleep when Santa comes to deliver his presents. But some pilots will have to be flying – like Qantas or Virgin Blue pilots, or pilots of air ambulances or fire fighting helicopters.

 

Air traffic controllers will make sure these aircraft stay away from Santa's sleigh.

 

Other planes have been warned not to try to chase Santa. Nothing flies as fast as a special sleigh pulled by nine magic reindeer led by Rudolph with his big red nose. "

I mailed out my Secret Santa package before I went on Christmas vacation. I also mailed out some eBay items while ON vacation. I've noticed that the eBay items are arriving at their intended destinations, but so far I haven't heard about my Santa package.

 

What is the best way to confirm whether it has arrived or not?

Yesterday I received a coin from Idaho that was shipped to me 4 days ago

Today I received a coin from Washington that was shipped 20 days ago

I shipped some coins to the US 12 days ago: no sign of them yet!

All Priority Airmail!

 

International shipments are really weird lately.

Ooops... My sincere apologies for not posting receipt of the Secret Santa mission!

What with a tripling in size of the household for weddings, Christmas, new

grandchild activities... my geocaching time has been greatly reduced...

A poor and feeble excuse for not rendering a giant THANK-YOU to PennyPacker

for the fine job filling in my geocoin collection. An Anza-Borrego coin was part of

the package - and I'm hoping to cache in A-B in just 36 days!!! Too cool!!!

Sorry again, PennyPacker - your gift was a real treat!

Very cool... I was worried that they didn't make it.

 

<off-topic>Caching in A-B is awesome. I have 100+ finds there (and a couple of hides) and I haven't really but scraped the tip of that iceberg. I'm usually there every other weekend during winter/spring (atv's/4x4 and caching) and will be there this weekend. Awesome place. </off-topic>

Sorry, I spaced out. I thanked my generous Secret Santa via e-mail, and forgot the rest of the requirements. My Secret Santa gave me three trackable coins, one of there personal coins, and a small pouch of wooden nickels. In all it was a nice touch and a nice experience. I read in someone's post about some sort of Valentines Day thing? Interesting... I may put my name in the har for that one as well.
