If you make this a overnighter let me know and I will do everythig I can to make it, I'll even bring the ear-plugs for everyone. +Astro_D
Did my first 'major hike' up Grouse Mountain in Vancouver B.C. Known as The Grouse Grind, It's been called nature's stairmaster and they ain't kidding... I had a blast and surprisingly, no ill effects to speak of afterwards! Of course, my pixs aren't as exciting as most of yours. The Mountain from a distance. Doesn't look too bad from here. How much further? Nature's stairmaster... We're so high, we're in the clouds.. +TotemLake
Very cool. That was a steep looking mountain even from the distance. The trail pics confirm it. Congrats on the effort as that looks better than 45% grade on the "stairmaster" even when considering the trail cut! Thanks! Yeah, it was damned steep 45% grade although it seemed steeper than that at one point. It ascends about 2800 feet in 1.8 miles. It sure was something completely different from the flat terrain of Wisconsin! Quote Link to comment
