  1. Thanks Mr. Bike Is there a way to do a mass delete of logs on GC.com from this weekend or do I just need to do them one at a time?
  2. I got a 67i a few months ago and finally got around to actually caching this weekend. We did the Chehalis/Centralia Cache Machine, https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAGZYJ_chehalis-centralia-cache-machine-dinner My GPS was connected to my phone so every time I found a cache it was auto logged "Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching" to GC.com. Is there a way to either create a canned log to be uploaded or not automatically upload the logs. And now that all of my finds/DNFs have been uploaded it there a way to delete those logs so that I can log via GSAK like i normally do with for Cache Machines. Thanks Jeff-

    Hikes

Skipping Granite Mountain. I decided to do a 17 mile hike and bike from Frying Pan Creek to Sunrise & back @ MRNP today. Some time Friday morning we are headed up to the Masonic Campground on Mountain Loop Highway for the weekend. Planning a hike for Saturday, not sure where yet but someplace up there.

Thinking about hiking up to Granite Mountain Lookout sometime next week, anyone interested in joining me? I've got next week off so my schedule is pretty flexible.
  11. Any early birds heading down Friday that want to hook up and get a jump on the route?

I was only able to get within 5 miles of the park entrance. I was plowing snow for about the last 1/2 mile before I decided on plan B, Carbon River. First mile was snow free and snow the rest of the way to the patrol cabin @ Ipsut Creek. The snow was about 12" deep for the last 3/4 of a mile and I was breaking trail that last 3/4 of a mile. I had a nice hot lunch under the patrol cabin awning then made my way back, no snow shoes required so I'm glad I left them in the Land Rover.

I'm going to hike up to Mowich Lake on Saturday March 22nd. I'm going to park as close to the park gate as I can get and set off up the road from there. I will be bringing snow shoes and hope to be able to use them at some point along the hike. It's about 5 miles of road walk from the MRNP gate to the lake. I plan on being at the parking area (N46 55.623 W121 54.943) by 0800 and hitting the trail by 0830. Jan/2014 WTA Trip Report
  15. There's a Tacoma Public Utility camp ground at the east end of Riffe Lake and Cherie and I will probably be taking the trailer out of hibernation and making a weekend camping trip out of it. Looks like it is $16 for the tent sites there are 24 of them, $29 for a site with water and electricity hookups. Its first come first serve until May 1 I plan on taking the trailer down on Friday and camping for the weekend. There should be enough room on the site for a small tent or two "if" you wanted to stay at my site. You would still have to pay a $10 extra vehicle fee. Are you guys talking about TAIDNAPAM PARK near N46° 29.6253' W122° 12.3630' and just off of Hwy 12? If so, it's no longer a little ol' 24 camp site. I can't seem to find any other TPU sites nearby according to the web site. Can the coordinates be confirmed. I'm thinking of this or a nearby area to group up at around 10:30. There still may be snow so plan for it. Jeff, will you you emai me your inReach address? Mine is totemlake@ . I'll send a message when I'm on the way Saturday morning. Thats the place I'm talking about. It's by no means a small campground.

  18. The following weekend doesn't work for me as I already have other plans.
  19. I'm a maybe on this one. If I'm not there by 0830 don't wait around for me.
  20. Booked my room at the Sunnyside Country Inn this morning, $136.50/2 nights + tax.
  21. There is a shorter way but it's not for the faint of heart or the family Prius. You can park just below Wonkatania or Living on the Edge and bushwack your way straight up the hill, but again not for the faint of heart and the road is not for the family sedan.
  22. FYI I plan on heading up to the area Saturday afternoon after the Block Party and spend the night somewhere in the area as I don't want to get up at 0400 Sunday morning so I can be at the TH at 0630.
