+Katerbug Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Stole the idea from the other topic. My picks are Fantasy: David Krumholtz from Numb3rs. Nerdy and cute, that could be fun. Reality: My best friend Dan(Thor of the Mountain) He's been my caching buddy since day one, we started together and got hooked on it together What about the other ladies of the forum? Quote
+Cornerstone4 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Stole the idea from the other topic. My picks are Fantasy: Cornerstone4 Why thank you! Oh, wait a minute...did I miss quote you there?!? Quote
+AuntieWeasel Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 CHARLTON HESTON! Oh, dear lord...Charlton Heston. 1969. I saw "Planet of the Apes" in the theater when it came out. Few people remember this. They are accustomed to the version edited for TV. It was the beginning of the skinny-dipping scene in the desert, and for one brief, shining moment on the screen, there it was: Charlton Heston's naked butt. I was nine. It was the first naked male butt I ever saw, and it became for me at that moment the model for all naked male butts. The ideal butt. The butt of butts. It rose...pale, majestic...above the horizon of my girlhood like the very moon. I need hardly tell you that no naked male butt since has come close the sweet, pinchable goodness of Mister Heston's remarkable dimpled apple of a hinder. And I went to art school: I've seen a few. Heston the man has never let me down, from the Civil Rights march on Washington to the NRA. And yet, really...it's all about Heston the butt. Nothing could come between us. Alzheimer's? Don't make me laugh! He'd be all, like, "who are you?" and I'd be, like, "Charlton. Darling. Don't you remember? I'm your wife of forty years...! Now, how's about that butt?" Wait. What? Geocaching? Oh. Some guy with a really good GPS, I guess. Quote
+BlueDeuce Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Fictional: Spock (with his tricorder) Real: mountain man Jedediah Smith Quote
+rnlorna Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Well, it would have to be my husband of course. And if he doesn't read the forums, it would be Bond, James Bond. All those cool gadgets, they would certainly help find some great caches! And not so hard on the eyes either! Quote
+TheGertridgeExplorers Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Hmmm. I would say Hub first (not that he reads the forums, but just in case Then that James Bond thing sounds good. I would also have to include Jeremy - who wouldn't want to go caching with our exalted leader!! I will also throw in George Clooney, just cause he's so darn cute. -Donna G Quote
+briansnat Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 William H. Macy. He's so hot he makes me wish I was a woman. Quote

+qattales Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 tom selleck , then sean connery all he has to do is talk i'll work the gps. if i was younger hugh jackman in his wolverine costume..rrrowwww again i'll work the gps, not a problem those claws might scratch the screen on the my merigold. Quote

+Vinny & Sue Team Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 I am happy to see that someone started a thread like this for women to share their views. I was kinda waiting for such a thread to appear ever since the thread about "What Woman Would...." popped up on the radar screen! This keeps things balanced! Have fun! Quote
+WascoZooKeeper Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 William H. Macy. He's so hot he makes me wish I was a woman. OMG. I spent a day alone in the woods caching with this guy. Quote

+Night Stalker Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 I am leaning towards Daniel Boone. I suspect my find no find ratio would be a lot better if he were along. In real life my current caching partner Renegade Knight is pretty good though you have to take his ribbing about your geocaching shortcomings. Quote
+qattales Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 hey..you guys are highjacking our thread...lol..larry storch??? geesh..talk about desperate. Quote
+qattales Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Hillary Swank ... ummm..think you got the wrong thread..this is the what guy one...unless there is something about hillary we don't know. Quote
+clearpath Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Hillary Swank ... ummm..think you got the wrong thread..this is the what guy one...unless there is something about hillary we don't know. She could have a tallywacker for counting bananas and I wouldn't care. Quote
+Ambrosia Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 You know, I didn't come into the caching with women thread and derail it. Quote
+The Herd Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Hmmmmmmm.....can we post which male we would LEAST like to cache with? Quote
Dan&Chris Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Hmmm. I would say Hub first (not that he reads the forums, but just in case What she said Followed by Horatio Sanz—he's so funny! Quote
+DocDiTTo Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Actually, I think it would be cool to cache with EdScott. I'd like to not only see him in action, but learn how he does what he does, considering he doesn't own the same equipment the rest of us do. Um.... yeah... better clarify that. I'm referring of course to his ability to geocache sans GPS, using only a topo map and compass for directional guidance. Quote
+reveritt Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 ... Heston the man has never let me down, from the Civil Rights march on Washington to the NRA. And yet, really...it's all about Heston the butt. ... Well said, Auntie. I have always thought that Charlton Heston was no end of a butt. Quote
+Team Tigger International Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 There are a couple of other guys then my caching partner I would like to add: Patrick the FAMOUS geocaching Male Dog ! and my fantasy pick : Nuff said Star Quote
ATMouse Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Dang, all the coolest fantasy picks are taken. Tom, Sam, Charlie... In all the world, of all the men, I would have chosen you. My bestest friend: Fantasy pick...? Abraham Lincoln...I bet he'd be good at this. What? Quote
+BlueDeuce Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 (edited) Fantasy pick...? Abraham Lincoln...I bet he'd be good at this. He was in my top ten. Even just to hang out with for a while. Edited May 26, 2006 by BlueDeuce Quote
+callalily54 Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 I would have to pick Robert Duvall. Not only is he a great actor (he can act like I'm a great cacher!), but he's also funny and can entertain me, he sings really well (remember Tender Mercies) and he loves to tango so that would be a great way to get from waypoint to waypoint. Quote
+LDove Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 (edited) He is relentless in trying to find the Illudium Q36 Explosive Space Modulator - I am sure he could find those tough caches... Otherwise it would have to be Josh Holloway from Lost... Throw away the GPS! We would get lost and not much caching would get done - rrrrr! Edited May 26, 2006 by lonesumdove Quote
+clearpath Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 You know, I didn't come into the caching with women thread and derail it. Hillary played a guy in one of her first movies. So, I didn't really derail the thread. Quote
"Paws"itraction Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 My geocaching teammate , best friend and future husband ! He will go where I am scared to ! +LDove Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Is it just me or does Chesirefrog's avatar photo look just like Pat? Quote
+bahama97 Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Richard Gere, but Harrison Ford would be great too Quote
