Smelliest Caches?

This one is near a sewage treatment plant and you don't feel like eating lunch after doing this one, even though it is a good hide.

This one smelled pretty bad because of the glue I used to attach the laminated geo letter inside the ammo box's lid and the fact that it wasn't yet dry when I closed it.

 

It hasn't been found for a while, but last I heard it still smells.

This one had the remains of some animals lunch left near it for a while.

 

What a strange idea for a thread - I think I should start one for the pinkest cache or possibly the one that sounds most like a carrot. Who do I never think of these ideas? Smelliest cache..... LOL

"Bob's Cache" was placed near a poor road-killed dead bobcat.

We found a cache in Hawaii last year that was really stinky.

 

Turned out it was the moldy TB that we took out of it.

Very Smelly. You have to walk past sewage ponds and still water later in the hike.

Read the logs and check the Topozone map for my Hidden Nasty Waterfall cache (GCJRNC) in Gonic, NH, to find out what nasty truly is.

 

A similar cache is Old Bridge (GCG8XN) in Epping, NH, by Pso. The cache is on the other side of the sewerage treatment plant where he works. If he is there, you may be able to use the short cut through the plant.

I left a bar of soap from Lush in a cache a couple of weeks ago...wrapped in plastic of course. But it was still pretty smelly, in a good way. The last finder reported that the ammo can smelt lovely! :>

We did on resently that was located about 100 meters from a storage area for port a potties which had probable 1000+ potties in the yard. The cache wasn't bad and if we had come in from the 1.5 mile hike down a bike path instead of the .4 mile short cut the potties would have been no problem but as true geocachers we took the most direct and shortest route. O'well it was a cool day so the stink was not to bad but in the summer UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found an open container of fish food in a cache once.

 

Ammo box...sitting in the hot sun....NOT good.

Here is one that smells a bit it's located right next to a Sewage treatment plant.And to make it worse the mud all the finders talk about is the treated runnoff of the sewage plant.CACHE NAME On the banks of the Ohio!!!! GCKQKE
