+cerberus1
Noticed issues with apps and new submissions, but didn't see anything about existing cache pages. Lower right map on cache pages. The zoom in/out arrows work, but when you click on View Larger Map, the search and filters section is there, but there's a blank page where the map's supposed to be. Quote Link to comment
+edscott
I'm not getting maps either.. Strange that no one else has chimed in here. Mac OS10.6.8 and Safari 5.9.10. Nothing changed with my computer Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
I've seen a couple of reports of this, but I cannot repro on any browser, even when spoof logged in as the reporting users. Can you check and see what server you are on? This can be done by viewing the bottom of the page source (not available on the map page, but you can back up one back in the browser and check there), or by going to http://www.geocaching.com/whoami Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
You're up Ed... You know this dyslexic old fart has no idea. On "whoami", it says I am web 13, you are XXXXX IE9 One of those days I wish CJ was sitting beside me... darned day-shifter. - Now it says "I am web 19". Need me to keep tabs? - says 11 now - but you probably already know that... "I am web 17". Edited February 26, 2014 by cerberus1 Quote Link to comment
+edscott
That link just takes me back to my normal home page at Geocaching.com I tried getting maps on JAScotts account and have the same problem. she is not a premium member so it is all maps not just the google maps that are affected. Obviously we both are dead in the water until this gets fixed. Quote Link to comment

+Calypso62
For me the map doesn't work on IE11 (even tried adding it to compatability view) but does work on Chrome. Interesting!! Edited February 26, 2014 by Calypso62 Quote Link to comment

+Starkiller_
Not working for me, just a big white empty page. I am: WEB16 You are: xx.x.xxx.xx <-- removed my ISP Firefox 27.0.1 Works on Chrome Same issue for me. Home and work computers running same config. What got me thinking was that it was odd it would work in private browsing mode- that turned out to be because it doesn't use cached data. CLEAR BROWSER CACHE. That will fix it- it did for me. As a side effect, the top bar will turn from beige to green. I guess they did some crazy patch to their maps that is incompatible with how it used to be. Quote Link to comment
+edscott
Clearing the cache didn't change anything here, except that it took a few seconds longer to generate the border of the blank map. Quote Link to comment
+cheech gang
No go here either. Top bar is green, the rest is blank Cleared cache, tried In_Private mode. Neither works. Using IE11, compatibility mode on/off, no difference. I am: WEB11 You are: xxxx Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
Blank map view here as well - using IE9 (please don't get me started on that...I have no idea why my employer won't update that or let me use a better browser. I've given up trying to find out) Quote Link to comment
+Richard E
Does not work on my Firefox or IE. I am very low tech. Can not tell which versions I am using. Quote Link to comment
+LympstoneBogtrotters
Having the same problem too. Private Browsing / clearing caches, history has no effect whatsoever, and the usual ''fix all'' compatibility mode change has returned a blank too. The good news is that like others, my maps ARE working FINE if I switch to Firefox. For the record, I'm using IE11 (86.159.14.119) Let's hope that this gremlin gets sorted soonest Quote Link to comment
+Frenk-Online
I'm having the same problem. When opening the map I see a blank screen. Is it possible that this is related to the new version of Google Maps that has been released today, because when I go to Google Maps, it has a completely different layout compared to yesterday? I'm located in the Netherlands (just FYI, because it's possible that Google is releasing the new version of Google Maps in phases). Kind regards, Frenk-Online Quote Link to comment
+Richard E
If this helps, after clicking on view larger map there is a quick flash of some sort of side bar on the left before going to a white screen. Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
I just ended up switching to the "Leaflet" map using the "Set map preferences" button on the map toolbar. Works fine until they fix the Google Maps bug. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
Dev is looking into this issue. No changes were made to these maps for this release, so it is not immediately apparent what might be causing this. Quote Link to comment

+cardon
I have a Mac OS X 10.6.8 and for the past few days, I have not been able to get the map. Today, I used my husband's newer MacBook and on his computer. There is a bar with 'map' under the bookmark bar that needs to be clicked on to return to the map after logging a find. I don't have that on my MacBook 10.6.8. I just have a BLANK page for the map. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE MAP? cardon Edited February 26, 2014 by cardon Quote Link to comment
+Bigbee43
I'm not able to get the larger map page either. +Bigbee43
Just tried again with Google Maps and Leaflet. Still nothing. The funny thing is that it worked fine yesterday morning, but last night when I went to download a couple of caches - nothing. I just tried with my wife's laptop and hers isn't any better than mine. +Two Grands
Another day where one computer in the house has all the maps and the other one has the white out only. Is there something we can do to fix this or is Groundspeak the one with the magic fingers? I know the folks there are busy, but a fix would be nice asap. Our computer with the problem is running Windows 7 Home Premium and everything else is working just fine, Thanks. Quote Link to comment

+Grand Illusion Crew
We are having the same problem. We like to use the map this location or view pocket query on the map to plan routes and get an overview of the caches. Along with others who have written in, we just get the Geocaching border and the blank white space in the middle. Quote Link to comment

Moun10Bike
Is GC doing anything? Still waiting for an answer. I posted this morning letting people know that the dev team was investigating, and Raine posted later asking for help with debugging. We do not have a solution at this time as we are unable to reproduce this issue in house with any browser. Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
@Raine Would be glad to help, but be advised that I am not experiencing this problem here. Running FF27. 28 is pending installation and I will therefore be on 28 if/after I shut it down and restart. Presently running Greasemonkey with Geocaching Map Enhancements 0.6.8. With either Google or Mapquest selected as the map source, things look fine. I can back out of any of those, of course. Quote Link to comment
