Redfist Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Because... I finally crossed off a tricky puzzle cache that's been driving me nuts for months. And for you??? Quote
Tahosa and Sons Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Because I'm finally retired and do not need 3 day weekends just to recuperate so I can go back to the same routine till the next day off. Quote
captnemo Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I read the morning paper and I was not in the Obits. Quote

entogeek Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I was able to spend it with a good friend who was in need of a friend. Quote
AmphibianTrackers Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 We went tent camping for the first time since a drunk driver seriously injured my neck and back. After surgeries and years and years of physical therapy we did it. It was awesome to take our family out and have a wonderful time. Quote

DragonsWest Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Hit my target of 750 days of consecutive caching. Tomorrow I'll decide if I want to continue. It's getting to be a bit difficult. Quote
Coyote's Girl Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Because the weather was fabulous. Because I didn't get any bad news about my family's health today. Because I found 16 caches. Because I was able to spend time with my family. Because my nephew spent the night last night. Because my little one had three acorns and a rock in his pocket when we got home. Because the windows are open and I'm going to go to bed tired and truly ready for sleep to take me. As soon as my laundry is done washing. Quote
Cryptosporidium-623 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I cached with my family and we enjoyed our time together. Quote
speakers-corner Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 today ist today, yesterday was and tomorrow will come. Quote
Dud&Plato Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I didn't cache today, but wrote a fun log (Not even a find!). Recovery after work is needed sometimes, however sharing with others is always cool. 'Workin', caching, possibly recruiting new cachers, music, festivals, all rolled into a long weekend? http://tinyurl.com/4yruk9o Yup. That'll do. Quote
Chief301 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Because it's not gonna be 98 degrees today (finally)... Quote
SmallsKC Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Because I am alive, married to an amazing man, have three wonderful little girls and my family is alive and healthy. Oh...as a bonus, I get to go caching today with my mom on this gorgeous 64 degree day!!! Quote

Semper Questio Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) Because my wife is recovering very well from her latest surgery and is almost done kicking cancer's butt! (Yeah, I'm pretty proud of her.) Edited September 7, 2011 by Semper Questio Quote

jbuffethed Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Because I am one day closer to the end of this deployment and one day closer to seeing my wife and kids. Quote
Fianccetto Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 I could write a book about how so many bad things turned good for each of our family today. (It seems as though a lot of others here could too.) Just one thing? There are no maggots in my kitchen anymore! Being positive is a deciding factor for a successful happy life. Quote
popokiiti Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Because my wife is recovering very well from her latest surgery and is almost done kicking cancer's butt! (Yeah, I'm pretty proud of her.) So glad to hear that SQ! Your wife is lucky to have your support. Cancer affects not only the patient who has to go through physical and emotional hell, but also the family who go through the emotional part. Big hugs to you both. Today is a great day because I've been through tough times and made it out the other side, and there is always someone worse off than myself. Those tough times allowed me to open my arms to a crying stranger in a store today, whose father won't be here much longer. Today is a great day...and I am aiming to make tomorrow one too. May you all have great days my friends... Quote

Buggheart Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Today is a great day because it finally stopped raining and I was able to go out and grab a cache I've been wanting to get. And I (hopefully) helped the CO who is struggling with his/her first cache hide. Quote
DanOCan Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Because I found a cache which I had DNF'ed twice in the past which allowed me to complete a cache series I first started five years ago. Quote
AmphibianTrackers Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I got to cache with my better half and we found two of the caches we had searched for before and could not locate plus several others. We saw some beautiful skinks, , some cardinals, and a red velvet ant. The weather was also wonderful today. Quote

Super Naitos Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I did a letterbox cache meaning I have managed to complete a challenge I set myself - to do at least one of each of the 10 different types of caches ( not including the APE ones, as those are just in the USA) Quote
AmphibianTrackers Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 We got our ftf yesterday! Quote
