  1. Not really about geocaching, but a zipline park is being proposed for Gold Creek County Park near Woodinville. Link Here is the park on the geocaching map. Map
  2. That's really sad. I would be happy to adopt some caches in Washington. Is there a list to be adopted?
  3. Looks like a nice place from the link. Sounds a bit too hard for the pup, though. Might end up carrying her or finding a easier hike.
  4. Geocaching maps aren't working properly. When I zoom in or zoom out, instead of showing the map zoom the map is either magnified or shrinked. When this happens the caches show fine, but I can't click on the caches. Also I can't zoom in or out anymore.
  5. Hi, welcome to the game! I will try to answer your questions the best I can. Before you hide a cache be sure to read the guidelines: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx And the hiding guide: http://www.geocaching.com/about/hiding.aspx 1. It is stated in the guidelines for hiding a cache that: It says that when you click on "Technical Requirements" in the 2nd section of the guidelines. 2. Averaging the coordinates is a good thing to do, so is the notice that the coords may be off. 3. No, you can hide as close as .1 mile or 528 feet from other caches including your own. Make sure it isn't to close or it won't be published.
  6. I have 1 FTF. It was shared with a local cacher who has a ton of FTF's, 44 to be exact.
  7. Got a link? I can't Google 'Log A Dog' Log my dog MrsB Thanks for finding the link!
  8. I will definitely get a trackable for puppy regardless of whether I make an account or not. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of getting a Log A Dog tag.
  9. These are all good ideas, but puppy isn't born yet!
  10. Why? I was thinking it would be a fun way to keep track of puppy's finds and events attended.
  11. Is it allowed to make a account for dogs?
  12. Thanks! Where is the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area? Does it have any good caches? Pretty much the whole gorge is the scenic area. Both sides of the river, Washington and Oregon. My link Thank you!
  13. Thanks! Where is the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area? Does it have any good caches?
  14. Might be bringing puppy(not born yet!)so dog friendly caches are good.
  15. Never used one, but the Magellan Explorist GC sounds like a good gps.
  16. I should probably bring more, but I usually bring GPS, phone for cache info, pens, swag, maybe a flashlight for typical caches.
  17. I would like some cache recommendations near the Columbia Gorge on the Washington and Oregon Border. I like caches on walking trails and intresting caches in urban parks.
