Mr. TSP
Just curious. What is the smallest micro you have found? What is the smallest micro known? Is there a lower size limit to micros that would be approved? The smallest I have found so far is about the size of a postage stamp hidden in one of those "Listerine" breath strips containers (I think that's what it was). Quote Link to comment
+Mr.Benchmark
How about this one? or even this one? These are the size of a large cold capsule - you could easily swallow either of them! "Rock It" is exceptionally tiny. Quote Link to comment
+Stunod
What is the smallest micro you have found? A drilled-out nail Quote Link to comment
Pto
I found one that was appx 1.5 inch long, smaller diameter than a pencil and was brass, with a screw on top. Funny, it was labeled as a Letterbox Hybrid - but was so Tiny that not even a pencil would fit. I guess it was worth the extra logo in stats? Quote Link to comment
+Kit Fox
I have found three Pet Id Tubes. http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?fami...t2=ID+Tags&ct3= One was attached to a log, another in a piece of "fruit" and the other was attached to a washer. Quote Link to comment

I've found a few small caches, but none as small as this one that I placed. I'm not going to post the size here (too many of the locals read my post), but NR_Teacher's September 8th log says it all Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
3 mm x 4 mm x 1 mm. That's small. How did they do a log? Quote Link to comment
avroair
A penny. The coordinates were etched into the back for stage 2 - 5 pennys in the woods in all! Sixth Cents Quote Link to comment
+Team Perks
How did they do a log? You initialed the back of it with a pencil. The next person erased the previous log and left their initials. Quote Link to comment
jdoe
3 mm x 4 mm x 1 mm. Yeah I've found something similiar to that size. I thought it was idiotic. The log was scraps of paper. The only items found inside were seeds. I should taken one of the seed and left my booger. Quote Link to comment
+Night Stalker
One of those tins that hold altoids wafers. It was painted flat black and hidden underneath a caboose in the frame in some grease. I searched for a lot longer then I should have and was lucky that I ever found it. Quote Link to comment

+vds
A tiny magnetic 'button' much smaller than the pencil eraser on a typical mechanical pencil. It held a mini rolled up log to sign/initial. Quote Link to comment
+CompuCash
What is the smallest micro you have found? A drilled-out nail Is that even possible??? with a really large nail, a small drill, and a short log. don't see that it would be wterproof, it would likely be pushed into a hole in something - if it were me, I'd cut it down so it would look like it was hammered in - interesting idea. team tisri
Okay but WHAT is the smallest container with a LOG BOOK inside???????cheers The smallest cache I found that had a meaningful log in it was a breath strip container hidden by Perthos (he's hidden a stack of micros). Inside was a piece of folded up paper big enough to store a list of names and dates visited. No pencil, naturally Quote Link to comment

vagabond
One of the smaller ones Ive found, was possibly the tube that replacement erasers for mechanical pencils come in, then 1 other that was about half that size. Quote Link to comment
+salpal
smallest ive found in a while was a magnetic thing on a post. cut off the tip of your pinky right below the nail, and it was about that big, maybe bigger, maybe smaller but a great cache nonetheless Quote Link to comment

+The Leprechauns
Okay but WHAT is the smallest container with a LOG BOOK inside???????cheers I claim ownership of the smallest micro in Pittsburgh. Imagine a hollow plastic tube about the length and shape of the bottom third of a golf tee - perhaps an inch long. Open the cap, use the handy paper clip at the site to extract the log scroll, and there's room for at least 30 dates and names. Quote Link to comment
