Dru Morgan Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 (edited) The latest logs at Sin City might just be the pick me up that you are looking for. Edited April 30, 2004 by Dru Morgan Quote
+Cache Viking Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Good reading. Sounds like some of the Ringbones found in these here forums. That person could not have fun anywhere doing anything if their life depended on it. Glad the cache was replaced. I have it on my list of caches to hit when I am in Sin City. Quote
CoyoteRed Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Two weeks and 3 caches makes him an expert on caches that "rock." This is good entertainment, indeed. You know, the "at you" kind, not the "with you" kind. Quote
bug and snake Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 A good, representative, cross section of log styles there. LOL Worth a read! Quote
+woof n lulu Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 (edited) Some people are just to dense for their own good ! Whata Maroon...as Bugs would say.... Ace is not an ace. Edited April 30, 2004 by woof n lulu Quote
+clearpath Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Looks like 'Ace' may have lost a little too much money playing the nickel slots. Poor fella was just all outta sorts. hehehe ... Quote
+Bull Moose Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Ooohh... A "digital entrepreneur" in Vegas (wonder what kind of site he runs from Vegas ) with 3 finds who plays "Magic: The Gathering." I hope he can give me advice. Not to besmirch Magic: The Gathering.... I'm sure it's a very fun game... I played D&D in the day, so no need to flame me. Quote
+WildGooseChase Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 I'll be in Vegas next week and this one is on my list to do. I'll be glad to do any kind a real cache after all those virtuals! It's pretty funny how some people will complain about any little thing. Quote
+Planet Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Whata Maroon...as Bugs would say.... Those are exactly the words I thought of after posting!!! EXACTLY!!! LOL! Quote

+Planet Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 (edited) ok, everybody, Ace has sensitive skin so be careful what you consider putting in your caches. And don't place them too far from the road or make the terrain too difficult, since his GPS can be kind of heavy. And Digital entrepeneurs are busy people as evidenced by what's what's on the screen. I'm done now. Watch my warn meter spike. It would be the first time. Edited April 30, 2004 by Planet Quote
+woof n lulu Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Simple caches near ordinary people...hmmmmm Quote
+Cloudchaser Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 We'll be in Vegas in June and hope will seek out the Sin City cache. Thanks for hiding it Dru! We definitely prefer traditionals rather than virtuals. Cloudchaser & Crew Quote

Oh, it's too much! I wish I lived in a world where all I had to worry about was emory boards, spiders, and how to stay that freakishly thin while eating a douible Red Robin burger with onion rings. Oh, and finding CACHES THAT ROCK! Quote
+WildGooseChase Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Great website. I really like the section on "GEO-cacheing" Ace's really cool site Quote
+The Cheeseheads Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 The sad thing is that now he's got attention and he'll probably keep latched onto this and rip it everytime it gets replaced. Too bad; it sounds like a fun cache. Quote
+Stunod Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 ...And don't place them too far from the road or make the terrain too difficult, since his GPS can be kind of heavy... No wonder he hates the urban micro! Imagine how he looked stumbling around the strip with his laptop/gps combo! Quote
+Sparky-Watts Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Ummm...why doesn't his log say ringbone? Quote
Dinoprophet Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Poor guy. Let him know there's a "Show me only the caches that I like" filter in the works. (Notice how I "spiffed up this link" to jump to the specific post. I'm 133t like Ace) Quote

Brings a whole new meaning to the phase paperless caching, just take the whole dadgum computer. BTW, don't you need muscles to wear a shirt like that. Digital entrepreneur... translation: freelance IT proffessional... translation: I'm currently on unemployment. BTW, I added a note to the cache page also. Edited April 30, 2004 by JMBella Quote
CoyoteRed Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 ...don't you need muscles to wear a shirt like that. Well, according to his profile, body building is one of his hobbies. I just wonder if it's through participation or as a spectator. Quote
+Bull Moose Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 I bet you he's one of those guys who gave himself a nickname. "Everyone calls me Ace." Yeah, because that's what you tell them. Quote
+New England n00b Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Tab links. A lot of fan Tab you find on the net is inaccurate or just plain wrong, so watch out. But hey, what did you expect for free? Premium member? Kinda doubt it. (I'm not either, but still... come-on!) Quote
+Kitch Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 He wants to place BETTER caches on the strip?? He'll get arrested lugging that Commodore64/GPS around....and placing a hide. Quote
+Bull Moose Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 At this point I'm kind of surprised that no one with a pony avatar has jumped in to tell us to be more PC. Quote
+Kitch Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 pony avatar has jumped in to tell us to be more PC. MORE PC I need the clickable smilie on that one for Pop coming out my nose!!! Quote

+SnowLeopard Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 (edited) Bummer, someone already made fun of the poor coorelation between his hobby (weightlifting) and his physique (pathetic). Oh, well. That's what I get for sleeping in. Edited April 30, 2004 by SnowLeopard Quote

+woof n lulu Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 We visited your Sin City Cache in Oct. of last year, and were very pleased with it. The view from the top was spectacular, the difficulty in avoiding the cameras was fun, and we had an added bonus of having a blimp fly over the roof while we where there. Don't know what this guy is complaining about, but there are enough positive logs, that it is easy to see this guy has a problem. Keep up the wonderful hide ! Thank You Quote
