+Team Sieni
Meridian Snake: The Project A.P.E. project is pretty darn big. Prompting one cacher to write in the log "I half expected to find a small child in there: the victim of a tragic and freak geocaching accident." Anyone with enormous embarrassing TBs they want to get rid of should head for the North Downs! Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
Edinburgh Walker has placed 2 in Edinburgh. Look at the pictures and you can see the size. One has got it's fair share of DNF's to. It's that well hidden. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...f21f6&log=y http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...87cc9&log=y Quote Link to comment
+spannerman
The biggest I've found so far is "130" It's a monster!!! Another, not so big, but still much larger than usual is "Cache Grande" Quote Link to comment
lakeuk
This is the biggest I've found, the water is a bonus plus imagine having to carry it for 2 miles Cache box Quote Link to comment
+HazelS
This is the largest cache I know of.... Iron Mountain TB Hotel I've not done it cos every time I go down the M6, and plan to do it, it's peeing down, or I don't have the listsing. Once I asked Bargee if I'd find it easily... Bargee is NOT a small bloke, and his response was "Hazel... I could sleep in it!!" I really must get around to doing it! Quote Link to comment
+Jaz666
There used to be a cache in Yorkshire the exact same size at a VW Polo; it's sorely missed! Quote Link to comment

+*mouse*
This is the largest cache I know of.... Iron Mountain TB Hotel I found this one last week and it's by far the biggest I've ever seen. I wonder which cache is the biggest in the UK? Quote Link to comment

+Team Sieni
Is this possibly the biggest one in the UK? Possibly, but it would have stiff competition from GCTK7X The drum may have it for volume but the box is longer (or taller if you stand it on end). It was surprisingly difficult to find. Possibly, but it would have stiff competition from GCTK7X The drum may have it for volume but the box is longer (or taller if you stand it on end). It was surprisingly difficult to find. I was offered one of these. It was huge. I wasn't sure if I could get somewhere where it could be protected from the elements. So I turned it down. Quote Link to comment
+Birdman-of-liskatraz
As Spannerman says above. The cache I placed along with the Pensilva Plodders is 130 Litres in size. Heres a photo of a 14 year old Plodder inside it.... The cache is called 130 and is in a pretty rough area, terrain wise that is. It took some while to get some trading items to fill it up! +FunLovingGeocacher
This is truly a huge cache! Biggest I've ever come across in three years! This is the largest cache I know of.... +Gralorn
The largest one in Wiltshire just has to be the large blue 130 litre container at 'Wiltshire Industry' GCMJE4. It is very big and was full of exciting swaps ranging from back packs to key rings...One certainly had to watch out for muggles getting it out of it's hiding place and putting it back. +Lotho
Ive only done one "Large" cache, and that was in the isle of wight. Quote Link to comment

Lactodorum
I've merged the two threads to prevent duplication. Rutson makes a valid point about using the search facility Quote Link to comment
+Madyokel
Bad news I am afraid.. LittleYokel and I popped by to drop a TB off at Iron Mountain GCP63E to find the box stolen and the contents strewn around on the ground.. We recovered the TB's enclosed and did CITO of the close area.. Great pity as this was a HUGE ammo box and was handy for droppin off TB's when passing. Quote Link to comment
+goldpot
GCR57T is a biggy right in the middle of London! It's one of Siloans caches in my park and to our surprise it hasn't been muggled since it was up graded to XL a couple of years ago. Quote Link to comment

+redpandas
After we stumbled across this thread, we felt bad for the Iron Mountain's demise so are pleased to announce it's back in action - and bigger than ever! Today, we're adding padlocks so those pesky Polish lorry drivers won't nick it! Enjoy Quote Link to comment
