Rain Rain Go Away!

Recommended Posts

Speaking as someone who works for the water industry, we could do with some more rain (about 3 months solid would be nice)

Speaking as a cacher, I wish it wasn't raining so much - and that this mud would dry up (and that the nettles won't grow this year, but that's really for another topic)

The Hoppers are heading your way for a week and we have ordered some glorious sunshine - we're quite happy to share it around! Watch out for us at a cache near you!:laughing:;)

Your weather ordering system works very well... Glorious sunshine here in East Devon today! Thanks!!

Lots of showers in the Swindon area today, we got caught in a spectacular one on our last cache, one minute there was sunshine and 20 mile views, the next we where being hit by sideways hailstones. (This was of course on the top of a hill at the furthest point from the car) and all on the first day of the hosepipe ban!

But what the heck, we haven’t shrunk and we can go and do it again tomorrow!

The rain is fine by us, keeps the muggles away !. :D

That's a good point :) . I went caching over the weekend in an area that's usually full of muggles! :D . The heavy rain showers kept most of them away (although there were a few other cachers about :D ).

Bit gutted about the weather today though! The weather forecast last week said today would be very wet, so I cancelled my days holiday....It's now lovely and sunny outside, with very little wind and just a few clouds about.....D'oh! B):):)

If anyone is caching in and around the midlands, you can always check out the weather conditions, weather warnings and reports at www.midlandsweather.org.uk

There are several members who have their own weather stations including Hereford, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Leicester, Derby and Tamworth (amongst others) and they can be found on the site too :)

Well .... we had sunshine every day when we were in Devon - hope you all enjoyed it LOL! We came back a day early (last night) and very sorry to hear that it is now raining in Devon, awwwww. If it's any consolation ... today in Berks started with glorious sunshine and it is now bucketing down <_<
