  1. Can anyone please tell me the simplest way to change a multi cache to a traditional cache?
  2. The West Midlands is missing too LOL I would have done Staffs, but its gone already - sorry.
  3. I agree with this. Her work email will be an alias using first.surname@domain and is probaly linked to an id like user12345@exhcange.domain
  4. As the owner of the cache, surely you can log it out and report it missing with the owner
  5. LOL U 2 I think thats going to take me a while to wade through Thank you
  6. That link was very helpful thanks. I think the Topo V2 looks great and clearly more useful than the basemaps currently being used. To get back to the original question, I see you've already had a go at the google map thing on your own site - how do you do it?
  7. OK, I got my first GPS yesterday and went out and found my 2nd cache - no problem. The co-ords were spot on! But I've put my journey onto the PC (using the supplied mapsource software) and it has me crossing roads that are nowhere near where I actually was. Seeing as the GPS was spot on for the cache, I assume this is a UK mapping error within mapsource. So how do I get to overlay my journey onto googlemaps? I want to be able to see where I really went (and perhaps play with the high res digital imaging). I would need a step by step newbie guide to go this as the only experience I have had with googlemaps is that provided in the cache details. Thanks in advance
  8. I agree, there are still many problems with 7 including with established forum software.
  9. I've not had a cassette player for years.....sorry
  10. I like the luggage label idea and would be interested to hear if it does effect their ease of travel.
  11. If anyone is caching in and around the midlands, you can always check out the weather conditions, weather warnings and reports at www.midlandsweather.org.uk There are several members who have their own weather stations including Hereford, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Leicester, Derby and Tamworth (amongst others) and they can be found on the site too
  12. OK, seems a bit drastic after spending all that money, but I suppose needs must. Would it therefore be more sensible or "safer" to track a TB?
  13. Hi Everyone, As you will probably guess I am new to geocaching, I got my first find on Saturday with the family after someone brought up the topic of GCing on a weather forum I run I've been reading up on TB's and geo coins, but notice that the coins can either be activated and tracked or collected. My question is, if you activate a relatively rare coin and want to follow it around the world (or whatever) - what prevents someone finding it to add to their own collection? TIA
