+Cave Troll and Eeyore Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Ours is 6.6 miles from home. We are saving some local ones for the days when we don,t have much caching time. Quote

+mongoose39uk Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 The nearest that I have not found is 2.9 miles away "Boggarts behind you". I gave her the idea for the placement so I have not logged it. The next is 5 miles Bexybears Circumferentialy Challenged This has only been done once. I am still working on it. Quote
Sparticus Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Leaving my three closest until my sister arrives. They are some 40 miles from home. once they are done it turns into about 60 miles, as the crow flies. Quote
+The Hokesters Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Ours is 3.3 miles - darn it! another competition we didn't win The Hokesters... Quote
markandlynn Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 5.1 ish as my nearest unfound cache is Alchemy quest gold and i have 5 more caches to do before i can get that one cleared of my list. Quote
+rutson Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 9.1 miles for me, but it's not in West Yorkshire, so not a priority [] Quote
+S&G.Davison Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Only 1.92 miles (if you ignore the 2 we have hidden). It used to be further as we had mopped up the local ones. luckily a few new ones mean we have some options when we don't have a load of time to spare. Sue & G Quote
+º Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 26.3km - already tried 3 times but the place was always contaminated with muggles Quote
+roolku Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I hope to clear the 30km radius tomorrow. But I have to keep finding closer ones as well that keep popping up. Roolku Quote

+Happy Humphrey Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 (edited) I have 1 remaining unlogged cache fairly close by (9.1 miles), and I've been saving that one, but will probably log it next weekend. After that, the nearest will be GCJ80Q which is 40.4 miles away in a country I have no plans to visit in the near future . The nearest ones in an area I'm likely to be able to get to (i.e. mainland UK) are 50.1 miles to the south (GCFD62) or GCG3WF (53.9 miles NE). Perhaps it will be simpler just to move house! +Team Maddie UK Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 The nearest unfound to us is only 8.8 miles. It is just not in the path of any other caches coming or going. It will probably wait until we have nothing better to do and no time to do anything else Quote
+Team Ullium Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 15.7 miles for me...and it's on top of a mountain Ullium. Quote
+Team Ullium Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I'm always prone to making mountains out of mole hills Pooter ... so Angela keeps telling me Mark you it looks like a flamin mountain to me !!! Ullium. Quote
+jochta Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 2.8 miles for me. But I have 41 unfound caches within 10 miles of home and I'm just about to get my first century and reach my first anniversary!! It's hard to keep up when you live close to Oxford Quote
+minstrelcat Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Currently, our nearest is 4.6 miles, but that's a fairly recently placed cache. Our nearest cache that is more than a month old is 20 miles away. Lisa Quote
choccymandm Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 1.9m is our closest - Just a Cache ... but thanks to Dan & Pid adopting some old archived caches we now have quiet a few more around the 5 mile mark. well done guys. Quote
+Haggis Hunter Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 After just getting back from holiday my nearest is 0.5mile. So it won't be for long Quote
Leoness Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 As of today, my nearest cache I have yet to find is now 20 miles away in CO Durham. An area I have largely ignored as I've been concentrating mainly on N Yorks caches. Quote
+Fangsy Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Currently the closest regular cache I havn't found is GCGEWW at 11.5 miles. Closest virtual (of which I havnt been out to find any of yet) is GC5250 at 17.1 miles. That last one has been leering at me for a year now. It's a Scary Mountain! Quote
