+tstar
Wow! Almost $2/gallon. I should start riding my bike to some of the closer caches. I'm told it's great exercise ...This just might slow down my out of town caching. Tstar Quote Link to comment

It's always been at least a quarter cheaper in Oregon than California. How we're a more? Local screwing I'd say. Quote Link to comment
+hedberg
Hmmm... I think I know why these kind of websites can't be found in Europe, let's see... The price in Sweden (that are not the most expensive country in Europe (when we are talking about gas price)) is $5.49 today per gallon Quote Link to comment
WH
Has anyone checked out the new gas / electric hybrid cars? They can get 50+ miles per gallon. Quote Link to comment

+tstar
Wow those prices are crazy! I guess that I can't complain too much. I'm really glad that I don't drive in Europe. Maybe I should start looking into a hybrid. Quote Link to comment
+Halden
Hybrids are very cool but check the reports aboutthe true milage vs. Stated. it closer to 35 MPG in real life. Still good though. The real change will come when we finally get fuel cell cars. Quote Link to comment
+Pobre Rico
Here in PDX I saw a line of cars clear out into the street because regular was only $2.199/gal. I haven't really noticed the increase yet because I just got a new car with better gas mileage and a smaller tank. I say "Fill 'er up!" and it costs the same for a tank full and I go the same distance. Cool! Quote Link to comment

+cache_us_if_you_can
The cheapest gas around here is $2.25... the average is about $2.35 for regular unleaded Quote Link to comment
+The Geocache Hunter
I feel lucky for only having to pay $1.91. This is about the average for Colorado Springs. Even though I live on a Military Installation (Fort Carson) it is no cheaper than off post. Some old timers told me it used to be cheaper for military but I haven't seen it in my 8 years in. Tahongawaka
I bet you wish you were living in the greater Atlanta Metropolian area. Still cheaper than milk. Imagine what you'd be paying if a certain Senator from Massachusetts had gotten his gas tax increases enacted (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1107755/posts) Edited May 21, 2004 by Tahongawaka Quote Link to comment
