jarja_grl and G-man Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 I like Cammie as the feminine of Camo. Goldens are fabulous dogs! I've had four in my lifetime and they were all wonderful. Enjoy! Quote
Bob&TheGang Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 How about "Eureka"? It means "Found It"! Quote
captnemo Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 How about "Cache of Gold"? Our dog is "Midnight the GeoLab" Quote
pnew Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 How about "Eureka"? It means "Found It"! or "California Geocoin" maybe? Quote
Halden Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 How about: Trek Cache Geo Nemo (as in Finding) I do like Bushwhack as well. Quote
Team GPSaxophone Posted January 5, 2004 Author Posted January 5, 2004 (edited) Wow, there have been a lot of good suggestions so far. I'll be making a list of them and let the rest of the team (family) decide. I liked the 'Trinket' suggestion, but the wife doesn't. We both like 'Copper'. Maybe I can name her 'Copper Trinket the GeoDog' or something Cami/Cammie is out, that's the next-door neighbor's name I don't think she'd be too happy and it might confuse the dog! Keep the ideas coming! Edited January 5, 2004 by Team GPSaxophone Quote
Sparky-Watts Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 I still like Sparky.....to heck with geocaching names, that one is just plain awesome! Quote
Hikenit Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 I got a Lab pup last weekend , we named him Zinger but responds to "No No Bad Dog" pretty well. Quote

Team GPSaxophone Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 Another idea...TNSL (Pronounced tinsel) OOh, I like that one! We thought we had made up our minds until you posted this. Top choices (in no particular order): Copper Trinket TNSL (Tinsel) Geody (Jodi) Vote for your favorite, or suggest something new! Quote
Snoogans Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 How about Snoogans? (Ahh, to be immortalized in dog.) I knew a great Golden named Charlie. (That's good for a boy or a girl.) All Goldens are Charlies to me. Geordy? (My Star Trek is showing.) I like these from your list: Geody (Jodi) TNSL (Tinsel) Of course, for the name to be correct, you would need to carry an ink pad to every find, but then, what if there was a dog toy in the cache? What would it trade? Sn gans Quote
Stunod Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 I don't recommend Stunod. My dog hates his name. Quote
sturgeongeneral Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 How about "Point", or "Waypoint" ? Quote

Little Brown Dog Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 (edited) My real name is "Bandit" because I steal treats. Go with a personality name, which the dog will let you know before too long. As for a cacher name, how about "Russell" as in Rustle around in the leaves for a cache.? Edited January 6, 2004 by Little Brown Dog Quote

Team GPSaxophone Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 Here's another picture to help your imaginations: We've eliminated 'Copper' since the wife thinks it sounds like a boy dog's name. Still in the running are: TNSL (tinsel) Geody (Jodi) Trinket (Trinket) Quote

ChrisCindy Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 Well seriously, Bob, I think you should name it what ever you want, Bob. I think Tensil is a good, Bob, name but you have to spell it TNSL, Bob. Oh, and lets not rule out Bob at this point as I think that would be a very hasty decision and one that you could come to regret in the future...Bob. Quote
