uperdooper Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 My new puppy was born on June 2. He should be here by the first part of Aug. We have already started discussing names. Any suggestions from the studio audience? What, not enough suggestions on the last 6 pages? I ws hoping for something other than Bob or Sparky. Edit: Did I mention it is a boy. He should look a lot like Rufus, a big black Standard Poodle. do you live in a neighborhood where it would be safe to call your dog buckwheat? that's what my brother called his black lab. his full name was rufus jay buckwheat. I was going for Hairy but the rest of the family shouted me down. I already had one Rufus. Auggie has a nice ring to it. i had an auggie doggie stuffed animal when i was a kid. it is a good name. +Robespierre Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Edit: Did I mention it is a boy. He should look a lot like Rufus, a big black Standard Poodle. Well, then, would JEREMY work for you? Quote

Not really. I was considering CO Admin, but I couldn't see myself standing on the front porch and calling for my dog with a name like that. I thought about Licorice but that would be shortened, then I would have the same problem as above. Edit typo Edited June 16, 2004 by rusty_tlc Quote

+Gorge_Hiker Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Kitty. I think it would be funny to call "Here Kitty, Kitty!" and have a dog run up to you. LOL, we call our dog "treat" when he isn't listening and we want him to come. Quote
+Gorge_Hiker Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 How about Stash? I can just see this on a quick trip down south; Border patrol: License and registration please. Mrs SaxMan: Omagod we left stash at the reststop!!!! Border Patrol: Please step out of the car. Mr SaxMan: No wait she's talking about the dog. Border Patrol:(drawing pistola) Sir please step out of the car! ................................................ Quote
