+Geo-Gophers Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Have sent an email asking about the postage to my corner of the world. Really like the look of these. My ancestors all worked as miners before and after they emigrated to the USA....as were the family members who remained over here in Scotland, and this would be nice to have in memory of that. I really like the simple design too.......great work!! Ali Quote
+UncleJimbo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Order email sent! Nice coin idea. Got my coal coins in the mail today. Wow, they are really dark ("black as coal" is right), and light weight, and very large! Larger than I imagined. They feel sort of like casino chips, but are less dense. I will probably release one to the wild, but not right away. Thanks! Quote

Yes, I would love some specifications on the amount/quality of coal required in order to make a coin run Quote
+BVnLJ Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Have to decided to reduce my geocoin collection to handmade or natural type coins and I remembered about these and purchased last week. They are nicely made, lightweight, and come completely ready to put into a cache with an introduction sheet with the coins goal and a printout for personal entries by the cacher who discovers or moves the coin along, all placed inside a ziplock baggie for protection against the weather. All that's needed is a pen/pencil and off it goes. Thanks Mike : ) Quote
