Pengy&Tigger
Okay folks, here's your chance to go camping round our neck of the woods on 22nd/23rd September. The event page is up and running here . The cache page should tell you all you need to know, except that there are around 200 caches within a 15 mile radius - with more to come no doubt. Tigger Quote Link to comment
Bud Lightbeer
Will pop it in the diary and keep fingers crossed we are free then. Bud and Nettie. Quote Link to comment

The Hokesters
Hmmm - this could clash with you know what but it's in the diary otherwise. Do you know if the site is likely to get booked up quick in Sept? Quote Link to comment
Pengy&Tigger
Do you know if the site is likely to get booked up quick in Sept? I wouldn't have thought so - The rally field is massive, so even if you can't commit yet, there will probably be plenty of places left nearer the time. T Quote Link to comment
alistair_uk
Okay, I am pleading ignorance, what it the other event? Quote Link to comment
PopUpPirate
I'll be there one way or t'other - it'd be barmy to miss out seeing as its so close to home! Either by day or hopefully camping. Nice site is Royal Umpire, loads and loads of top farm shops in the area for quality breakfast food in the fab surrounding Croston / Eccleston / Mawdesley areas! Quote Link to comment
miss_butterfly
would love to but will be in Japan at the time... will see if i can come back early!! Quote Link to comment
Team Vorvik
Am not sure at the moment if we can make this event but there seems to be a little confussion on our part to the pitch prices...... according to the event page prices are for 2 adults and 2 children, but according to the site web address the prices are:- what is correct? Team Vorvik Quote Link to comment
Us 4 and Jess
Well you did better than me Andi I couldn't even find prices Jo/Becky could you please let me know the price per night for the caravan/awning with electric 2 adults and 2 kids and Jessie Thanks Mandy No matter I found it £13.00 per night (which isn't bad at all) Edited July 5, 2006 by Us 4 and Jess Quote Link to comment
Pengy&Tigger
I think the price confusion arose because the info sheet they gave me had at the top 'tariff based on 2 adults and 2 children'. However, it appears that this only refers to the caravan pitches. the tent price is based in number of berths as Team Vorvik posted. T Quote Link to comment
Us 4 and Jess
Another 2 quick questions for those with local knowledge How far is this site from Blackpool? and on the 22/23 September are the illuminations still on? Mandy Quote Link to comment

Pengy&Tigger
We tried to organise a booking in the pub across the road (The Highfield) on the Saturday, but they have a wedding party in and can't accomodate us. They can, however take us in on the Sunday, so the pub event will be on SUNDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER from about 12pm till 3pm. This will allow all non-campers to take part in the event, and leaves Saturday free for caching. Note that the pub is an optional extra, and you can log the event by either camping or pubbing or both Quote Link to comment
