+schlumbum
Hi All! The second German event (after the Frozen Bone on January 1st, 8AM) with its own Geocoin was the Walpurgis Night - an 8 mile hike up and down the Brocken Mountain. We arrived on top just before midnight to celebrate Walpurgis Night (check wikipedia if you are not familiar with it). For the event we made 500 Geocoins and now have some left for public sales. They are available from the CacheZone stores in the USA and Germany. One of the direct links is: www.cachezone.us Thanks, Die Hexe & schlumbum Quote Link to comment

Hey Big JohnP, I just bought 2 coins and 2 pins and only spent a little over $23. Shipping was $3.03. Go to their US site. Edited May 24, 2006 by summerandnana Quote Link to comment

+Team Professor X
This summer we'll go to the HARZ region (again) to get this special coin from the Brocken mountain ourselves. A special coincache will be hidden by a friendly local cacher somewhere between the rocks or in a cave just for our Team. That's the fun of this game: caching, geocoins and meeting likewise people . +MikeOtt
Tried to order two, but said ther is not enough inventory, so had to settle for ordering one. I guess that was the last one! Quote Link to comment
+TravelingViking
There are still a few in the German cacheZone store. However, shipping from Europe to North America is really expensive. Best price/shipping ratio is for 500gramm (a bit more than a pound), so that should be about 10 coins. Recommendation: Try to organize group orders... Olaf Quote Link to comment
+MustangJoni
I can't believe I already have this! Great job, and neat coin! Quote Link to comment

+TravelingViking
As posted before, some are still available at the German CacheZone store. If you can wait up to 6 weeks for the delivery, the German postal office also offers a sea/land service. We would need to charge 5 Euro for the S&H, but it could be for up to 2kg (more than 4 pounds)... Olaf Quote Link to comment
RedShoesGirl
would anyone like to go in with me in buying the current walpurgis event coin - the cutout of the witch and moon - copper version? i would really like to have this coin, but 11 euros for 1 or 2 coins at 7.95 euros a piece is ludicrous. lara Quote Link to comment
