The Golem
I went out last Thursday and bagged 3 caches in just over 3 hours, I then had to race back home in time to pick my son up from school. Today I found only the Borrowdale Yews, a nice leisurely stroll through a beautiful valley with time to spare and appreciate the view. Now, it's all well and good getting as many as possible as quickly as possible but I enjoyed the one today far more... So, what do you think, quality or quantity? Quote Link to comment
rutson
Depends on my mood, sometimes 20 in a day, one noteable day recently, 6 hours, 30km, DNF, but enjoyed it none the less. Quote Link to comment
The Blorenges
Quality! (as our stats show.... ) We haven't hunted a cache for about 3 weeks . Been busy doing other things and the weather hasn't been great.... Having said that, it looks like being a lovely weekend, bright & crisp, trees are looking lovely... and I'm thinking, "We haven't been to Westonbirt Arboreatum for ages. There're bound to be a few caches around there..." Mrs B Quote Link to comment
Moote
I'm a quality man myself Quote Link to comment
Mr'D
A good mix I reckon! Love expeditions when I can do 10-20 in one day (a bit rare these days...), but also like days when a quality couple will do. Jon Edited November 17, 2005 by The Dewdrops Quote Link to comment
Sue and Bernie
We're quality too... cycling in the summer, walking in the not-so-summer! We normally plan an outing, of either sort, to a roundabout trip to pick up a couple of caches at a time. Quote Link to comment
walkergeoff and wife
I am with Dewdrop on this - and I can recommend going on expeditions with him. Quote Link to comment
Alibags
Like Mr Dew, I swing both ways! There is something satisfying in having an expedition and bagging a few caches in one go, but if asked what has been my favourite cache so far, I would have to go for Pharisee's Your Mission... which took two of us three long days and lots of work to crack. It's a good antidote to, for example, a day of urban micros! Quote Link to comment
davy boy
It all depends who you are with, caching with other half means 3 or 4 caches and a nice stroll but when on your own or other cachers its sometimes good to bag quite a few!! Quote Link to comment

Birdman-of-liskatraz
It's about the walk, communing with nature, being at one with the environment, watching wildlife stopping to watch a buzzard soar escaping the lil brats at school It's not about numbers... Noooo way.... 200 this weekend though. yeaaaaah - thats the plan Quote Link to comment
SlytherinAlex
I do lots in a day and then can't be bothered logging them. - Quote Link to comment

Kryten
Quality every time, my highlights this year are "10th and 3rd" and "Centre of Scotland", all day hikes with but a single cache at the end. Quote Link to comment
alma
no doubt about it quality gets my vote anytime Quote Link to comment
adambro
It would be nice to have hundreds of find, that would mean I've been to hundreds of great locations. Caching by public transport involves a bit more planning which allows me to find out more about where I am visiting. Quote Link to comment

Naefearjustbeer
This reminds me about the story with the old bull and the eager young bull! Looking down at the herd of cows, The young bull just wants to run down the hill and.................. However The old bull will take his time and bag them all at his own pace. Quote Link to comment
Team Incredible
Quality - everytime. Surprisingly enough the kids aren't into quick cache & dash finds. We did our first ever cache & dash at the weekend and despite the wind and the rain they wanted to walk up the hill to get the box, not just lean over the wall to find it. I did wonder if they were sickening for something... Quote Link to comment

Kitty Hawk
Quality works for me. But then there are days when I need to do some clearing out of the blue spots on my GUK interactive map. Quote Link to comment
