+foxfire949
I've been considering having my own personal coin made. (I'm sick of buying coins, and want to tade.) I've got a decent idea of what I want my coin to have on it, but my graphic design skills are lacking. On the front, something like this: and on the back, as close to a recreation of the standard nys dec trail disk as possible: What do you think? Anyone who put together a coin layout that I end up using would be generously rewarded with a few coins..... Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
You got any larger pics of that fire tower or am I going to have to go take a picture of it myself? Which one is is... I know it's a local one but can't remember which. Quote Link to comment
+foxfire949
I do have a larger picture..but i can't get at it until later tonight. It's the Azure Mountain tower near St. Regis Falls (St. Lawrence County) A great, short, steep climb. (944 ft. in just under a mile) Quote Link to comment
+bikinibottomfeeders
I like your idea i'll take 200... just kidding. I can envision it being a cool coin though. Quote Link to comment
+biggeeks
I couldn't resist sketching up a digi-version. You could have the tower be 3D, and really make it POP! The back I sketched is if you only want metal with a minimum of paint, but if you put a lip around the edge of the coin you could fill it will paint to match your marker. Okay...back to REAL work. +biggeeks
You might want to check your spelling. I can't believe you've never heard of "Convervation"...It's the latest crave! It's just like conservation, but with more conversing before hand. Can't believe I let that slip through...sheesh. Edited November 16, 2005 by biggeeks Quote Link to comment
+GEO*Trailblazer 1
How about this? OK I had to scratch a little more on the bison turd. Edited November 17, 2005 by GEO*Trailblazer 1 Quote Link to comment
+PassingWind
How about this? Is that background a bison-pie? Quote Link to comment

+AtlantaGal
I like big geeks artwork and would definitely want to purchase or trade for that coin. The 3D tower would look very cool. Quote Link to comment

+501_Gang
I like Biggeeks design! I'd buy a couple too if they get made. Quote Link to comment
+Cornerstone4
Ok, this thread hasn't been active for a while, and I was wondering if I missed something... I just got the 3 coins that I ordered. 2 of them were blue, and 1 was red. Is the red something special that I got, or was it something that I ordered? I couldn't find any reference to it. ParentsofSAM
I got a blue one. I think he said half were red and half were blue. No special reason. If you ordered more than 1 he was going to some of both colors. Quote Link to comment
+Teamhawaii1981 & blueicyrose
These came out cool! I don't know why, but I was expecting a smashed penny shape. I kinda like it this way. (I got red). Quote Link to comment
+altosaxplayer
Looks like it will be a good coin once you get it designed. I am having a hard time on my own design considerations. I am no help here! Quote Link to comment
+Evil Chicken
Got mine today (blue) - it looks great! Quote Link to comment
+Rusty O Junk
Mine came today and the coin is nothing short of fantastic.... but then it's got a fire tower on it so it can't miss. As a side note my Adirondack Traveler was just placed yesterday on Mt. Azure not far from this fire tower. Quote Link to comment
gridlox
Picture? Guess we just got to use our imagination! WOW!! Those are really nice! I really like the way the front is done. The back's not too shabby either. Quote Link to comment
