Female, b. 6/26/08 Come hang out with me and I'll show you all the water holes in San Diego County. I'll also show you how to handle them pesky cachers and how to tell when they're going out on a hike or them annoying drive-ups. Maybe in a couple of years you'll get a cool sister like I did. +SD Rowdies
An urgent email just came into SD Rowdies central expressing concerns about D! and cute lil Willow! dawg. Of course it is our policy to protect the identity of all right-thinking tipsters but, in this case, it can be said that the tipster in question is merely a mouthpiece for a Geo- caching canine name of Becca!. Having studied the recently posted photo of Willow! shown in congenial family surroundings Becca! cautions that there are two glaring indicators that perhaps only a dog would recognize. See photo below for items of concern. 1. Safety Concern Humans should never-ever leave dangerous puppy-chew objects such as TV remote controls lying about the house or property. Instead provide a wealth of doggie-chewable objects that are good for puppy teeth, gums, and chewing muscles. Well, you know, unless you are actually trying to get spousal approval for a new HD TV. 2. Overworked Master Having a contented Master is a paramount concern for puppies, for that matter for grown dogs as well. Any observant canine will recognize that the broken trellis in that photo clearly shows that D! is overworked and/or suffering undue stress from a compulsion to constantly increase his Geocaching find-count. This can lead to an unhappy puppy/dawg and we sure don't want that do we D!? Becca! advises a campaign of frequent rest and relaxation big D!, just take it easy now and then in other words. Becca! says to lie down on the carpet, lick yourself, and then take a good nap each and every chance you get. (When you do we want pictures by the way.) Best of luck Willow!. Your bow-wow pal, Becca! +Duncan!
Becca! says to lie down on the carpet, lick yourself... Already tried that... BTW, I like that trellis just the way it is! I'm sure you'll see her on the trail before too long. D! Quote Link to comment

You can see it too, can't you . . . the long white beard, the shock of white hair and the face peeking out between them . . . ? Well, yeah, but ain't there supposed t' be a Rudolph and a chorus line of reindeer? ... and what about the sleigh and bag of presents? Santa as a kayaker, what next? I suppose it doesn't matter much 'cause almost all of my childhood fantasies were shattered when I reached age seven. (Age seven ... December 11, 1941, the day that America declared war on Japan. Sure put a damper on my birthday party not to mention th' life-changing event that happened four days earlier. My unusual birthday present, by today's standards, was a U.S. Army 45-calibre pistol and holster. I liked the pistol a lot and I still own it but my first thought that day was "Where's th' frakin' ammunition t' go with th' pistol?" Yet another early lesson in life ... it's always somethin'.) Wait a minute, what was I talkin' about? O yeah, Santa .... Christmas really sucked that year, only one clip of pistol rounds but the box of artillery burst-simulators made up for it. Those were the days my friend. Edited September 20, 2008 by SD Rowdies Quote Link to comment
