OMG I had to take a 2nd look!! Hi Florida! Turns out that Baldy is going to the hospital tomorrow for either angioplasty or for stents. He felt symptoms while in Alaska, on the cruise ship rather than in that kayak. We're dragging him along to some river kayaking in Missouri, flying there Sunday. Maybe we'll get a shot of Baldy & Goldilocks being attacked by a huge catfish. Edited October 8, 2008 by SD Rowdies Quote

Pat, Depends on which of the group you ask. Bonnie of Clari-netacache had more fun than the rest of us. Each and every time she went through the tiny little riffles of that river she did acrobatics with her kayak. Talk about foul language ... that ol' gal has full command of the Queen's English. Her personal best paddle-launch was about fifteen feet and that while hung up backwards in trees and bushes. Had to teach her some politically-correct expletives; you know, "dad-fraggin', frack, and more." In the end our outfitter asked about our experiences ... Bonnie leaped at her chance to vent about the "rapids." The outfitter looked puzzled and then asked "What rapids?" Just goes t' show y' about kayaking in San Diego County ... lakes and the bays. Got t' take Bonnie out in the surf a few times. Hmm, come t' think of it we did in Maui, but that was on sit-upons so's she couldn't get swamped. (Hi Bonnie, thanks for the entertainment. Luv y'!)
