+Okiebryan
I had a really neat sign made and gave it away as a prize for Spring Fling. It went over very well. I'm able to make more, and I'm wondering if there is anywhere on the forum that I can tell about it? Quote Link to comment
+Too Tall John
How about this thread? Quote Link to comment

Did you make the prize recipient sign a waiver to use the sign? Fun sign. I may steal your idea some day. Or not. Quote Link to comment
+Turtle_Sask
OMG That is hilarious!!!! that is awesome Quote Link to comment
+Turtle_Sask
Honestly man, you should patent it or something. I bet a lot would buy it if you could supply it!!! Quote Link to comment
+Knight2000
Nice job but I don't really see it as humorous. Quote Link to comment
estrelle
I love it!!!! I want one!! I like your username, fellow Oregonian cacher! My guy is known as "Noble Satyr" and sometimes I'm "nymph"/"Noble's nymph"/"nympha" Sorry for being OT Edited April 21, 2010 by estrelle Quote Link to comment
+Okiebryan
It's not something that can be patented. By saying that I reserve copyright, I have reserved copyright. I can supply. Not a problem. Just waiting to see how many people go to ebay and order one at this point. Quote Link to comment
4wheelin_fool
Hidden? What would you do? Cover them up with sticks and leaves? Quote Link to comment
estrelle
Hidden? What would you do? Cover them up with sticks and leaves? Don't be silly. You just push it through Platform 9 3/4, of course! Quote Link to comment
+Mojorizn1965
Did you file for a copyright Printing my own locally. joking... On a serious note however, "claiming" a © doesn't hold much water these days. You'll spend more in legal fees than you'll profit. Market your product better than "the other guy" and you'll come out on top. best-o-luck in your venture Quote Link to comment
+ihorn
Very cool sign. I must say that I love it. Might have to go over to ebay one of these days and order one. Quote Link to comment
+Okiebryan
I actually have filed for a copyright, btw... I don't know how long I'll have them on ebay... this is my first run, we'll have to see how this one goes. Quote Link to comment
BCProspectors
I don't think you can copyright something like this. I'd like to see some sort of GEOCACHE SEARCH IN PROGRESS|DO NOT DISTURB sign or tape. Quote Link to comment
+WRITE SHOP ROBERT
If you just want to talk about your cool sign, then this is the place, but if you're trying to manufacture a discussion just so that you can mention that you're selling them on ebay, then you're breaking the rules for this forum. +Okiebryan
Sorry, that was why I asked first. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
When "asking first" you said nothing about promoting sales of your product on eBay. So, don't do that anymore. My 16 year old daughter knows that asking "can I go to the school dance?" will receive a different answer than "can I go to the school dance with a 25 year old guy named Bubba, because he can buy beer for me and my friends?" +BlueDeuce
Shouldn't it be 'All other Vehicles"? Quote Link to comment

+bflentje
I reserve copyright for this original idea, btw. I just listed some on ebay. Signs similar to that have been around for years. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
I think I understand... If I buy beer for you and your friends, then it's ok? I think that he's saying that he requires his daughter to tell him who she is with. In the first example, she didn't tell him, so the answer would be 'no'. Quote Link to comment
+9Key
It would be cool if you added the public domain geocaching "G" to use up some of the white space on the sign. Just a suggestion. Google "leatherman geocaching logo" for the template. Quote Link to comment
+brdad
Neat idea for a sign, perhaps you should make them trackable! I recently carved and donated to my local group a sign with an embedded TB tag to make it trackable, which will travel to events and be placed on the TB table or hung up to help promote the site. It is about 12" high and 20" long. It has only attended one event so far. Edited April 21, 2010 by brdad Quote Link to comment
+GeoGeeBee
You might want to consider editing that photograph so as not to show the tracking number. Or expect it to get logged a bunch of times over the next few days. Quote Link to comment

GPS-Hermit
Your sign should be a STANDARD at Geo-Caching EVENTS. Pretty Cool! Quote Link to comment
+TheAlabamaRambler
Why would you hide someones car? Well, if Bubba is 25 and buying beer for my teenage daughter I'd hide the car so that no one would find his body in the trunk! Quote Link to comment

Did you make the prize recipient sign a waiver to use the sign? Fun sign. I may steal your idea some day. Or not. Can't copyright the sign, but you can trademark the design. Very cool by the way - You should make some little parking tickets that you can stick to the ground after you move their car. The ticket should have a place for the coordinates of the vehicle and where to report to rent a GPSr so they can find it EDIT: for lack of typing prowess Edited April 22, 2010 by Jeep4two Quote Link to comment

Google "leatherman geocaching logo" for the template. If it takes off, I'd go one step further and seek licensing from Groundspeak for the GC logo with the web address below to help promote - more colorful and recognizable. Quote Link to comment
