+The Haywood Hornet
I am looking at organising a Christams Dinner Event. How does Sat 2 Dec near Rugeley (Staffordshire) sound? A 4 course Christmas Meal (Starter, Main, Dessert and Coffee with a mint) for £14-95, Under 10's half price (I think). Crackers included or am I the one who is crackers? Quote Link to comment

+The Haywood Hornet
Lunchtime rather than evening - I am open to suggestions but my guess is that starting at 1 or 2 would be the best time. Quote Link to comment

+The Bolas Heathens
We'd be up for it as long as Mrs BH does not have anything else planned for us that day. I assume there is a veggie option as we're all veggies? Quote Link to comment
+Team Maddie UK
We would definitely attend if Martins work schedule would permit it, else I would probably come alone. Lynn Quote Link to comment
+The Haywood Hornet
Main course is 3 veggie options out of 7 choices. Starters 2 veggie options out of 4 choices. Is this a good type of event for my first cache? Quote Link to comment
The Washers UK
At last a cache by The Haywood Hornet just what we have been waiting for I expect you will be placing lots of caches for us to rush round and find OK well we will still come, it should be a great oportunity for lots of local cachers to meet up at long last and everyone else as well of course. Sandra & Paul All events are controlled by the event holders. They could be; BBQ Drinks and Chat with other cachers Camping Party to celebrate special occasions Departures of cachers and in relation to some of these types, cachers may place caches to coincide with the event and become live on that day. the events also give attendees the opportunity to cache in the locality either before/during/after the event. I have attended a few events and for me, putting faces to names is fantastic; meeting other local cachers to cache with; meeting new friends; swapping stories and experiences and for some collecting numbers! Go for it. As far as I'm aware, ALL events are open to ALL cachers and you don't need to be invited. Just show your intention to attend or not on the cache page. Oss! Quote Link to comment

+Sensei TSKC
If you do not wish to eat - don't! You can still attend. There are some cache setters that try to impose conditions on their events in order to get there or whilst there. See what the page says and judge for yourselves. Most have no conditions like that so enjoy. Quote Link to comment
